Match Mentality USPSA Classifier Matches - Becoming one the 1st Limited Optics Masters

Limited Optics went live May 1, 2023. I shot a classifier match May 13 and made Master making me one of the 1st USPSA Limited Optics Masters and ranked #3 as of my classification.

For some reason our club officials dont want to hold a classifier match so I am stuck shooting a classifier once a month in the hope of getting classified.

Shooting classifiers once a month is painful when trying to get classified or improve as the averages are hard. Look for clubs that have classifier matches as most clubs will do them 2x a year.

You would be DQd if there was a round in there and cleared it, regardless. Better to find it though, rather than pull the trigger and be surprised.

But even between strings you can have a loaded gun and some people will pull their gun out and pull trigger to warm up. So my habit is always check even though it's a cold range.
