I love her vocals in Century Child, her voice was so naturally dreary and grim compared to all the light sopranos during the rising popularity of symphonic metal at this time. She always stood out. Such an iconic song. So young but still delivered vocal performances like this most females in this industry can't even come close too.

One doesn't need aggressive vocals to sing the male part of this song. I'm going to sing the male part of this for a school talent show and I don't have aggressive vocals. But I think it's going to turn out well.
My friend and I were talking about what we are going to do for the talent show, so I showed her this song hoping she could do the male vocals but she didn't want to so now I have to learn the male part and I am only an alto girl
My band's covering this version(our soprano sings it in the style of Sarah Brightman, which is an octave lower), but we're nixing the vocal sliding, redoing the opening keyboard and adding the Webber lyrics "He's there/Beware the Phantom of the Opera).... This is making me want to watch my copy of the Lon Chaney silent film version ^_^

I like this version, buttt I have to say that I like the original more just because of the lack of love in the voice of the Phantom in the Nightwish version .. His heart is filled with madness & everything, yes .. but he is also full of love .. & that's what I'm missing here. p.p

I liked betrayal for her since it fit her feelings pretty well. Mr Crowley was an excellent choice for her intro scene. That said, this would definitely be a proper replacement for her as well.
