He knew about Saint Brandon, that Columbus was a bastard Portuguese prince and that Madac a Welch prince and entourage of the preViking era eventually ended up on the Little Tennessee River of Kentucky and Ohio. And it was me Dakota/Mandan grandfather on mums side who told me how the tribes burned out and massacred heirs of Madac by setting Kentucky on fire. Those mariner stories were obviously popular over the generations of seamen. And grandfather was from Like A Fish Hook village that was one of the last prereservation Mandan villages that was flooded by the new dam. He was last of the old ones.
