What a beautiful place and presentation of the food was like different works of art and the beach was stunning (although you would of had to hold my hand to get me to cross that bridge due to my fear of heights!) I have been following Usako Style for as long as I have been following Nami as well and Usako also lived alone in Japan until she got married and shared with us her wedding and now her new home in a different city with her husband. It’s a pleasure for followers to know they are happy with their life companion. Hope one day Nami will be ready to share with us that side of her life too. Yes Nami has been having lunch, dinner, with boyfriend (we) for some time now. When she’s on a outing with friends, it’s always “my girlfriend(s) and I”.
Nothing like a good getaway day once in awhile, especially with a good friend. Change of scenery and not having to cook or cleanup, to just relax. It is healing to soak away your cares in the mineral hot spring. It's the best.
That inn! How beautiful, I didn't want your vacation to end. btw, your great gift to your grandmother was your innocence as a child. That, I'm sure, is what she most cherishes.
Aaahhh... Nami, you make me missing traveling to Japan so much!! The shinkansen ride is soo nostalgic. Can't wait to visit Japan again next year! I already plan it!

What a lovely vacation! I was excited to see which yukata you chose~ I also learned something new while watching. I never would have thought to use the egg slicer with strawberries! Thank you~
A little different style of making tiramisu. We dont use any fruit. Our lady fingers are lined up in a baking dish with the espresso mixture poured over and they soak. Then layers of the mascarpone on top of fingers, more mascarpone and one more layer of fingers but these are one that soaked earlier in espresso. I think im recalling it in the proper order. Well it is very close anyway. Lol. And so so delicious. Your trip was very elegant. The hotel was so beautiful. The food you were served was exquisite. I think i would have cried over such beauty to put in my mouth. Ha. I love a train ride. So relaxing. Im happy you took us along on your trip. Thank you Nami
