In my opinion, the person playing priestess is not good at struggling, i can tell by looking at how many times the hands were tapped. If i happened to be that priestess, i would actually escape from the hunter's clutches.
2:28 omg, I really relate to this one all the time. --plz survivors, do not accept blue portals from the priestess if youre being chased by the hunter, youre putting our lives in danger. --you can accept blue portals only if you have a quite far distance with the hunter. --also, good tip; accept blue portals when you saved someone so that it will served as an escape route for the chaired person (including you too). -- another tip (my style); as a priestess, summoning your blue portal is quite dangerous right? cause you never know what happens. when someone accepts your portal, look at where it is heading cause you can see a white outline of the portal, just look around when your summoning it. now, if someone accepts your portal (who is being chased btw) and you know that the hunter is over there, you can cancel your portal everytime but just do it quickly or else it wont work. this is very efficient to tricking hunters that you will summon it completely, believing it that most hunters will wait for you to pop out, causing their time to be wasted. i know, that it's kinda rough that is has a long cooldown but this for sure will 100% save your life instead of dying by a sacrificial teammate -_-.
When I use priestess and my teammates are in danger and running from the hunter I summon the blue portal to save them, but that doesnt work too good all the time.

Jarett Harris yeah I see your point but personally you need 1 person to save or if your coming for a 2 person save at least a do a cipher that’s really close to the person on the rocket chair and let the other person save because in reality let’s say you have 4 ciphers done because the person can’t kite and only one person is doing the cipher which is horrible because only 1 person needs to go in for the rescue..
one thing I’ve learned to get a teammates attention to get healed instead of chasing after them is to use an emote behavior, the sounds you make will help get their attention!
5C Mayhem It affected the kiting late game though... I almost got to play the same situation as the guy playing priestess who kited the hunter for 6hrs. Like literally almost the same situation like same place etc. I almost got to the escape door, but I ran out of portals to kite the hunter.... It was actually the most intense and fun gameplay I’ve ever play though if it wasn’t only for the nerf she got....
@@queenC6969 theres literally no competitve rank match that extend even close to 10 minutes. Plus, even tho impossible in legendary rank, teams with multiple priestesses have a very low winrate and yet make the game drastically longer for no reason. Good call on the devs
5C Mayhem It only lasted that long cus there was still another survivor, but incapacitated. The hunter really wanted me so he didn’t put the other survivor in the rocket chair. I was literally standing beside at the escape door waiting him to put the other survivor in the rocket chair. But he chose not to. He was playing Wu chang too so it was a tough much since he can teleport too. I bet it wouldn’t last that long if it was another diff hunter.

I looked away for a second and totally forgot this was youtube then i heard the sound and i was like "Oh no, the calibration!" And i tap the screen and then realized this was a video XD
if you have 'borrowed time' in your persona and your health isn't full when the last machine gets popped your health fully recovers and your speed is increased by 50% for 5 secs BUT this has no effects when you're chaired so that's why they didn't pop the cipher. the seer was chaired, priestess was finishing the cipher so that's why they said 'cipher machine primed' to let the teamates know that it's ready to be popped. mercenary rescued seer and priestess popped the cipher and you can see that the seer's and mercenary's health fully recovered. (usually we pop the cipher when someone gets down but here the ripper knew the cipher was primed so he didn't hit anyone and that's why the priestess popped it)
I have a friend who in my opinion isn’t that good at playing idv. She always tries to call me using the blue portal mid kite and I have to stop her by telling her that she wouldn’t have enough time to form the portal
one trick I learnt is when u go into portal, come back before the hunt goes through portal, that way the hunter won’t be able follow u, est. the priestess nerf
this arent really tricks that u necessarily have to learn from top hunters. its more like common sense lmao. i tot u would show the trick of letting someone else escape from hunter through long portal the proper way, but whatever
