Just started playing this character yesterday. She is so much fun to play. I ended up qualifying in silver rank lol… yeah I suck, but getting wins with her are super satisfying. The command grab is nice and crunchy
One thing you're not utilizing a lot is the fact that after medium or heavy spire at the corner (wind stock versions), you can use light wind stock as a frame kill which would leave you plus 2 (more if heavy spire). So you can meaty with your lights to spire again to repeat the cycle if it hits or command grab. So instead of waiting or dashing up as you do here, you actually have time to buff yourself. A lot of people don't know this and press buttons on wakeup and get hit by the frame trap.
Crazy thing is in my opinion I haven't seen ANY bad characters in SF6 (Advanced characters but not bad ones)....and I haven't seen such a phenomenon in a VERY long time we are talking at LEAST 15 years plus...Street Fighter 6 is remarkably polished I think in apology for their last game!
I'm secretly hoping that everyone would keep saying she's low tier bad with little potential so nobody learns how to deal with a small grappler with great reach and good get in options.
@@headbreakable it gets fully beat on meaty, you just lose bar and wind by trying it lmao, only trades if the opponnent doesn't time the meaty correctly
I feel like she doesn't have many tools, like, she has positive on block dash, a shoryuken kind skill and that's it, no fireball, no way of playing far, if the enemy is playing guile you're going to lose
Don't listen to him, Capcom. He is a Juri player, his judgement is suspect. Lily is weak and needs lots of buffs. Give her Marisa level damage and let her command grab mid-air after a tomahawk buster. She needs it.

First) Marisa is a *power type character* , which is why she have big damage. But she traded that with her mobility (she have very slow walkspeed and dash) and bad anti air. On the other hand, Lily have better mobility and anti air than Marisa. Her damage output also fine where she can still land 4K-5K combo damage with her windstock + super lvl 2 or 3. If Lily get Marisa damage then Marisa will lost her value. Also, it doesn't makes sense if a non-power type character especially with small body like Lily have 7K damage output like Marisa. Second) There's no character in SF 6 who can do command grab mid-air after a DP. So i doubt Capcom will give Lily that buff. Butt if you want more damage after Tomahawk Buster, you should have two windstock then do overdrive Tomahawk Buster follow by overdrive Condor Dive.

i got cammy juri and ryu in platinum and was thinking of using lily as next, then this video popped up on feeds xD nice!!

Only character I have master rank on, she's really damn fun despite her limitations. I'm learning Ryu now.
Coming from a Lily main who has discovered tech... she's pretty bad against most characters and the new mechanics put her in her place.

I think she is a simple and effective character, simple gameplan, not weak AA and has a DP on wakeup.
Her Dp isn't a true real reversal. Its only throw invul

Lily's DP is not strike invuln, so it'll get beat by meaties.

Anyone with a projectile just hang it up 😅😅 jp,ken,ryu,guile, it's so hard your basically at there mercy being mixed up
She's good and still viable despite she at the bottom tier. But maining her requires a lot of patience.
I think its just good balancing for once that there's no absolute dogs in the launch roster.
