Haven't seen the entire show but definitely The Twilight Zone was well known as a show with a lot of allegory and commentary for human nature of the time and as it's gone on, in a way a mirror of the real world today. Some of these picks definetley feel like scripts that would've fit within the shows format. I know there's gotta be more picks from this time and all throughout cinema history that would fit within The Twilight Zone.
As a fellow Hitchcock fan, my immediate first thought was “Spellbound.” The dream sequences, the paranoia, and the twist ending with Leo Carroll all make the movie a solid fit in my eyes.
For another well-known film, I’d also recommend the original “The Thing from Another World,” not just for the sci-fi/horror elements, but the paranoia again. Perhaps a bit obvious, but both would seem to fit your list.
Also a shoutout to the prior comment listing the oft-forgotten Day of the Triffids, and the 1940’s Dorian Gray.
Spellbound was a serious contender for this video. The only reason I omitted it was because I feel like I've talked about it a lot before (i.e. Hitchcock ranking video, Ingrid Bergman ranking video). But I totally agree! Thank you for the additional recommendations!

Insane, you talk about Ox Bow Incident without speaking one word about 12 Angry Men. Thats an achievement!

Le Corbeau (Clouzot, 1943) would fit right in with "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" and "The Shelter". It's a great movie. Very dark and with some incredible imagery.

Another commenter already pointed it out (and gave his summary), but Seconds (1966). Great movie all around, atmospheric, and literally feels like an hour-and-a-half TZ episode. And that ending, it kinda disturbed me the first time I saw it. I would also mention The Exterminating Angel (1962) by Bunuel. A group of rich douchebags gather at a fancy dinner in a mansion, only to find themselves unable to leave the living room afterward. Surreal and laced with social commentary on high Spanish society at the time.
Lastly, Carnival of Lost Souls (1962). Decent little cult movie about a girl who survives a car crash into a river, only to be haunted by this bizarre, disassociated feeling. It literally plays like an extra-long TZ episode, from the mood, cinematography, and predictable TZ type ending.

I haven’t seen that one actually, BUT it’s in the watchlist! I know others have mentioned it too here and there, so it must qualify! I’ll check it out soon!
The angel from its a wonferful life is the dad from shadow of a doubt and its crazy how different in personality the characters are.

Opinions on the 80s/2000s/2019 Twilight zone series?
Haven’t seen any except for the first 5 minutes of the 2019 one. I didn’t care for it at all. However I’m interested in the other series!
