I am trying to save up to get that one Oupes 2400 on Temu. I only run truck 2 days a week, so $$ is slow. So far they are offering me NO DEALS on it, hopefully this video will help them send a 50% off again so I can have one to replace what this Allpowers was supposed to do. Then my plan is to just use the Allpowers for its 48 volt battery to boost that one in the new Oupes and to be used as a emergency model if needed back up. That 2400 watt Oupes ( 2024 model orange black model ) is $500 off anywhere else on Temu due to them wanting to sell off them to renew their style and looks. Issue is, the $600 one on Temu is 100% identical internally to the newest 2025 model $1200 Mega 2!!!!
Use the FURMAN that I listed under the video, a bit down on the links I left on there. It's good about voltage control and has a filtering and base load support board in it.
Glad I could help, these things are a real pain if you don't know what your looking for. Dirty voltage can ruin so many things that it's so important to be very selective on inverters and power stations.
I've heard you mention you have a power station running freezers and other appliances and they get trickle charged throughout the day. Is it a solar trickle charge or coming from main battery bank? Would love to see a video on that. I really like that idea because if a "main" inverter goes down, your whole off grid setup isn't an expensive pile of parts not doing anything.
Yes, we have a number of Power Stations just getting 90 to 150 watts each all day long and even all night when the batteries have it they are on a circuit using a VSR so that all day when volts are above 12.8 they charge. They get started when volts exceed 13.2 in the morning and all day or night as long as its over 12.8 in the main bank. Only time they do not get or stay to 100% is when the main system has 3 or more days of heavy clouds. On those days we have one power station that is a Aferiy 2400/2032wh that will dump power to them on one AC circuit to them with 30 minute mechanical wall timers you can set for 5 to 30 minutes to any one that needs it most. I also have 8 of the extra odd ball LiFePO4 batteries that are made into a 24 volt system that is to either buck or boost 30 amps to 12v, 10 amps to 36v to meet any short needs of my 12 or 36 volt banks. A video is not a bad idea.
I got word from Renogy who also has panels on Temu, they claim that they use them since Temu now only charges 3 percent verses Ebay and Amazon charging over 12% to them to list. So if you go there and search name brands you will find some and see they are real, shipped by the brand and cheaper. DaierTek Bus Bars 22% less, Heavy 500 amp Switches 18% less, Renogy 100 watt panels 13% less. Etc.!
@@JOHNDANIEL1 I picked up 10 of the 50w renogy panels for less than $20 each on a flash sale. They are used to solar charge my Aferiy P210 and work great.
I used to befor I could aford it a modefide sine wave and my microwave would sing like crazy and took 2 minets to heat cup coffe I got pure sin wave and you can’t hear it run
Sounds like a Square Wave inverter! Use this on your laptop so you do not have to use a inverter s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oE1SB8D pick the US model 40DC and 120W US
This vid got me thinking. I have have 2 inverters 48v Swipower 2000w 3000w both refused to power laptop plugged in to TV HDMI (130w max total) made TV behave funny blank screen. But If I put the power from swi inverters through my Anker power station in UPS TV & laptop work find. So my guess is, having now watched this video, the swi powers are putting out dirty voltage and the Anker is cleaning it up. The Swi power display AC does fluctuate on the display so...Thoughts?
If your using the ground wire on the outlets on the SWI power remove it from any grounding such as Cable TV ground or the like. It can cause voltage imbalance. Putting them through a power station removed that ground static. I run all mine as 2 wire, and NO grounding on Computer Cat5 or the like and cable TV or the like is removed. zero issues.
The inverters are not grounded. I tried grounding as a solution it did nothing. I honestly think having watched your video it's dirty voltage. Sony TV must be female, very picky, voltage has to been hygienic. No worries though because I only use them for kitchen power (heat elements) they do that fine. Got another inverter for sensitive equipment.
One feature I like about the swi powers is the soft start. I have a vacuum that pulls a ridiculous surge, but I switch it on while the inverter is off, then power on the inverter and listen to a nice gentle rise in power. Doing it the other way (inverter on then vac) trips the breaker :-)
For the hyper picky things, such as CRT, Plasma TV, and HAM radio, use the best made for that, a pro model like we use in the telecom work. Just need a 1500 watt in 48 volt for your system. My suggestion, absolutely the Cotek SP1500-148 1500W, 48V amzn.to/42ynUd3 Cotek is Xantrex product, all internals are made in Taiwan not China. Assembly is at the Kioshi ( formerly Toshiba ) plant.
So you have a faulty allpowers 2500 inverter board. Doesn't mean they are all like that. And they most certainly aren't. Be a lot simpler if you just ask allpowers for a replacement inverter board under warranty. It's 5 years.
Built faulty, both units on the table that are ALLPOWERS had same EMI issues. Oupes don't, Bluetti don't, and only the Ecoworthy Inverter I had showed some types of bad voltage. And they are aware of it, say all boards are this design, NO 2 or more stage filtering. Already been there, done that. According to them and reason for the buying and using a filter was their reply to: "use a AC line filter to improve the voltage" that recommendation is from the source in China via Alibaba.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 Fair enough. Filter is cheap enough if it corrects the issue. I don't like the fact you can't charge with DC at a high enough rate while using the power station when it's at 95%+, meaning you can't hook it up to 51.2v Lifepo4 bank as an expansion without avoidable wear on the r2500 battery etc. Should just take what it needs to charge and extra to power loads. Doesn't. Does on AC obviously for UPS.
I will attempt to run/video a hand held welder on this 2500 watt constant with 4000 surge watt claimed starting boost. The R2500 if you need specs. Lets see, check back for it on the channel. Attempts for it to run a 13k BTU RV roof Air Conditioner inverter style with ultra soft start 1800 watts start, 1240 running, it was iffy at best, struggled. The ALLPOWERS brand has new recent ads all over that say ( upgraded version ) for a reason. Same item, nothing changed, just they are in a panic and you can find them listed all over on Mercado and Ebay as "refurbished" or "renewed" which is due to thousands of returns on them. Those reviews that are not paid for by them tell the story on the same issues I show. They have impressive quality battery cells, good BMS. But all complaints are the inverters and MPPT units in them. When they have a FIRE SALE due to bankruptcy, be ready to snatch them up as dirt cheap great battery banks to use. Toss the rest.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 That would explain why the R3500 (3500 not 2500) has plummeted in value on Amazon to £1099.99 (I'm in UK) Amazon price tracker show the r3500 at over £3000 for all the time it's been on there till just this last few weeks.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 Looking forward to the video. I had access to a r2500 a while back, assumed it was just faulty because it struggled with surge. In fact no joke on a particular inductive load 4 small lifepo4 charges totalling 600w the r600 powered it fine and the r2500 overload errored until you switch inverter back on. My guess is to avoid that fault they perhaps started throttling voltage but introduced more faults. That video will be an interesting watch. Cheers!
