    I bought this power station and have been testing it for almost a week. I am here precisely for that "LOW VOLTAGE ERROR".
    I have it connected to a 48v 400w array. I actually charged it to 100% and left it connected to solar and came to check it to see how much power it would lose just being on with the IOT.
    I know during your testing , it resumed while there was a charge, but in my testing it didn't. Once the sun went down it went down to 98%, then "errored out like yours did". I had to also unplug it and plug it back in for it to even turn on.
    The second issue I have with it is the IOT button. If the power station does or times out, you need to push the IOT button to get connected back to WiFi or Bluetooth. So basically, you have to set it to never time out of you want the IOT to work all the time and if it does you have to manually turn it on.
    Both of these things are unacceptable to me, especially when I can get a Bluetti AC180 or Ecoflow Delta 2 for a similar price.
    Just sharing my 2 Cents. In case it helps someone out.

    Bluetti a few years ago was on the right track of having a large capacity battery and a small inverter, I believe it was the EB240, but the inverter was only 1000W would have been ideal with a 1500 or 1800W. I would love for the companies to start producing at most a 1500W or 1800W inverter with a 2000 or 3000 watt capacity battery so as to make it a little more efficient especially during storms and grid outages. They need to re-think their philosophy about home back up and think emergency backup for short term of a day or two so that the lay person is able to power a residential refrigerator longer than 12 to 15 hours. Yes it is good to have large inverters to run high demand appliances but in emergencies a refrigerator is more critical than a microwave. Just my 2¢.

    If you exceed the amps on solar, is it dangerous to the unit? Or does it regulate the amount it uses? Thanks for the review video.... Jeff

    • @ReeWrayOutdoors
      @ReeWrayOutdoors  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      @JWTX the max Amps/Current rating is just the max current that the power stations charge controller will try to pull from the solar panels. The Isc rating on the panels is just the max possible Current the panels can deliver. So there's no concern if your panels have a higher Isc rating than the controller's max rating other than you might not get the max power out of your panels under certain circumstances.

    Thank you for the review. So, this unit sounds good at the superficial level. But the details... sigh.
    The 2000 watt output is really great but not making the 10 min test is concerning. The NEC defined continuous as 3 hours or MORE... It's not really a pass if it fails to simply meet 10 mins. (And of course I get that it's not convenient to do a 3 hour test as well. But the fact that it didn't meet the 10 mins, should disqualify it)
    The other issue of not automatically charging via the solar port if you reach 0 charge @11:30 , is a critical function that needs to be fixed. (Thank you for providing that). I do think it is a major inconvenience to have to unplug/plug to get it to recharge via solar.
    On the PLUS side, the price is pretty good. I might have actually bought this unit, but not with these flaws.

  • @pkarowic

    Good review and the price is really affordable. I see Allpowers has their expansion battery available now, B1000, for the R1500 and the R2500. That would be another good system to review.

      Actually, I had both of those units on hand to review and I sent them back. I'm just not getting a sufficient quality vibe with Allpowers currently. I hope they turn it around because, on these types of products, budget pricing is extremely welcome...BUT...not if it comes with a significant sacrifice in quality.

    • @breadwinner134
      @breadwinner134 29 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      The user manual should specify storage and maintenance procedures for the battery. But typically you don't want to store at 100%. Maybe 60-80%.

    • @ReeWrayOutdoors
      @ReeWrayOutdoors  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      storing them in the cold is actually not really a problem...heat will degrade the cells much faster than cold. And the other viewer reply is spot-on. Generally not recommended to store them long-term at 100%... 60-80% would put much less stress on the cells over time.
