Turkana County Community Disease Reporters (CDRs) refresher training

PlantVillage, in partnership with the County Government of Turkana, has trained a group of 30 Community Disease Reporters (CDRs) on livestock disease surveillance.
The CDRs, selected from 30 different wards across the county, have undergone a refresher training course on using the PlantVillage AI mobile app to capture and upload data on livestock disease symptoms, the affected animals, and their locations to an online server. A field veterinarian will then review the data, diagnose the disease, and provide the appropriate response and intervention.
