For those that don't understand the STANDARD universal tekken notations. 1/LP= PS Square, XB- X 2/RP= PS Triangle, XB- y 3/LK= PS - X , XB - A 4/RK= PS - O, XB - B Ex. 3+4/LK+RK= PS - X+O, XB - A+B If you complain about these notation being complicated or that you don't have time learn don't look at combo video and or make them up yourself .
Oh, my gosh this is SO HELPFUL!! I'm getting back into Tekken on account of the new game coming soon so this is absolutely perfect for me to learn new characters. Thank you so much! :D
if you play 2d fighters its pretty much a DP(shoryuken) press forward, let go then slide you thumb down from the down button up to the down forward it will be hard at first, but as you keep trying you'll get it eventually
yeah that's how it is supposed to be, and slowly you start to develop muscle memory and learn how to do it. Then after a while it becomes second nature to you. Fighting games wouldn't be the hardest games to master were it easy to learn them.
I can never connect ff+3 to any of my combos. I always end of dropping the chain because i can never dash fast enough after the prior move used in that situation. Any help?
nope, they can't tech until their feet hit the ground. if they were able to, they would have seeing as I set them to side roll. Plus the combo counter is still there, it would reset if they could tech.
sii no entiendo las letras y los numeros creo q los numeros son los botones como ser X, Cuadrado, redondo y triangulo.. pero las letras no se como sera
~5 means fast input tag (often used in tag throws or combos). b or B is back and B! is bound. Get your facts straight as this may lead you into some big confusion while trying combos.
1 = ◻ / X 2 = △ / Y 3 = X / A 4 = O / B b = back f = forward u = up d = down uf = up+forward df = down+forward ub = up+back db = down+back qcf = quarter circle forward hcf = half circle forward bf = back to forward f,n,d,df = forward, neutral, down, down+forward
SR is Sky Rocket - f,n,d,df+4- JFSR is Just Frame Sky Rocket, which means that you must press 4 at the same frame as you input df. Dash is a regular ff dash.
Yeah its real pain in the ass to do Mishima's (E)WGF, Hwoarang's JFSR and Nina's WS1 spam in a controller, but thus, I prefer the controller lol. I'm a newb at sticks.
honestly not really, wave dashing and just doing f,n,d,df is pretty much impossible on a controller. I would suggest getting a pad or a stick. I use stick so it's not so much a hassle.
Over generalizing pad players is always a huge no-no. Everyone says "Pad players can't play Magneto" and Fanatiq has been doing it for years. Wave dashing in Tekken is just as difficult as playing Magneto. I can do both so I'm not just saying it out of my ass.
u just have 2 keep at it. After a couple days you would at least be able 2 do combos. Just go in2 practice with it. I use stick myself n im jus telln yhu my experience when i first got mine

For those who prefer an easier bound, you could try B+2 when on Flamingo or 2,4,3 on Flamingo stance

2:00 i like that one :)
For this and your Dragunov vid, I am subscribing... and annoying my brother immensely by beating him all the time using HWO/DRA
Hi again Hurtbox, i was just wondering any tips or shortcuts for the f,n,d,df motion? i play on controller
try pressing forward and then when you are in N, press down and slide your finger up to forward. works for me.
Hurtbox i have a fightstick but its just collecting dust because i get soo frustrated with it, whats good advice on getting good with it
I have yet to see someone pull it off as consistently as with a stick.
if you play 2d fighters
its pretty much a DP(shoryuken)
press forward, let go then slide you thumb down from the down button up to the down forward
it will be hard at first, but as you keep trying you'll get it eventually
muy bueno los combos pero no ce como se traducen esos signos por favor dime donde puedo averiguarlo
Fun fact:ground combos is stronger than the Aerials in this video

how long did it take from you? seems harder than steve

0:38 i try the move but i can't i try the combo but its not working I'm using ps3 help ?
eh not that long, both Tag and solo characters take roughly 5 hours at most to record the combos.
It literally mean Right Foot Forward.
Your moves are awesome but explain me these buttons for Xbox controller
Yes It's Much better on a stick, but I wave dash just fine in my controller. Is there something wrong with me?
Hey, I'm currently learning how to play Hworang, can someone tell me what "RFF" means? I'm assuming it has to do with the right foot, right?
Tekken 7 hwoarang combos pls
wow Thanks!!
He is a very good character :D
Can you make Ogre/True Ogre combos? :/
sii no entiendo las letras y los numeros creo q los numeros son los botones como ser X, Cuadrado, redondo y triangulo.. pero las letras no se como sera
I am kinda new to tekken.
I understand what everything means except ,,B!".
Does it stand for Back or Bound?
I think it's bound.
You're right. It stands for bound.
~5 means fast input tag (often used in tag throws or combos). b or B is back and B! is bound. Get your facts straight as this may lead you into some big confusion while trying combos.
COOL~! Thanks
Donde encuentro el significado de esos breakdowns
is it just me or does it look like the opponent can tech most of these combos at B! ff+3 ?
thankyou thankyou
Can someone break down the 3+4 and uf and basically everything else lol. This is a lot different than street fighter.
1 = ◻ / X
2 = △ / Y
3 = X / A
4 = O / B
b = back
f = forward
u = up
d = down
uf = up+forward
df = down+forward
ub = up+back
db = down+back
qcf = quarter circle forward
hcf = half circle forward
bf = back to forward
f,n,d,df = forward, neutral, down, down+forward
Where it says "f,n,d", what does the "n" mean? thanks
Thanks 👍
+Jake Burton Crouch Dash/CD, forward, neutral, down
wtf? the inputs on the second one dont go past the second set....
Looks alright to me
what is "SR" and dash ?plz rply soon
SR = f,n,d,df+4
dash =f,f
SR is Sky Rocket - f,n,d,df+4- JFSR is Just Frame Sky Rocket, which means that you must press 4 at the same frame as you input df. Dash is a regular ff dash.
que es RFF

Is it easier to jfsr in rff?
+yomomma1316 it is very very easy with that
only this i dont agree with is the wall combo. but overall pretty okay.
honestly not really, wave dashing and just doing f,n,d,df is pretty much impossible on a controller. I would suggest getting a pad or a stick. I use stick so it's not so much a hassle.
i cant play hwoarang well, his stances confuses me alot >
Think of them as hand drop stance and non hand drop stance
iodineclip that's me with baek
That's also me with Steve Fox
71 damage off a df+2 launcher? nice.
Thanks! haha
Over generalizing pad players is always a huge no-no. Everyone says "Pad players can't play Magneto" and Fanatiq has been doing it for years. Wave dashing in Tekken is just as difficult as playing Magneto. I can do both so I'm not just saying it out of my ass.
what's RFS?
lol thanks man, i posted this time ago
SS+ TIER 👌🔥
Hwoarang is more easier to learn compared to Steve though 😂
exactly fam
u just have 2 keep at it. After a couple days you would at least be able 2 do combos. Just go in2 practice with it. I use stick myself n im jus telln yhu my experience when i first got mine
i want to request hworang all kick combo, thx ^^
hehe, most people "cheat" with using rff to do JFSR because the timing is easier.
3:15
the ff 1234 uf wtf whatever is just making things more complicated than it has to be.
Um... how?
BieberSucksCock100 guess i just lashed out at myself publicly because i can't be arsed to try and understand it all. lel.
Yeah you snowflake!!
i made my on combo
I play on 360 can some one translate this is know those moves but I don't have what most of you use
1=x 2=y 3=a 4=b u up f forward b back d down
+A Panda thnks
I'll have to disagree. Is it highly difficult? Sure is. But impossible, no.
Damage is so weak
