You need to be 18 in the UK to legally get a tattoo. Many people have their partner's name tattooed on them, then split up with them & regret it.
The best strategy is to get a tattoo of the name you hope to end up with rather than the name of your current partner.
I was 14, I got a Japanese symbol on my arm that means Good Virtue (supose to mean that) when I was 20 I started working on a sleeve rather covered it up
Do you happen to know how long 18 has been the legal age? I only ask because when I was 15 back in the ‘90s there were girls in my art class from the year above who had tattoos, and they were definitely professionally done (and cost a fair bit). I’m Scottish so maybe the law here differed slightly from England, or perhaps the legal age UK-wide has been raised since then? 🤔

Watching a reaction to Friday Night Dinner while eating Thursday night dinner. I remember Dont Wake Dad! You had to go round the board and if you landed on a number you had to press the button that many times and hope Dad didn't wake up and pop up out of bed. Used to play that wiith our son all the time in the early 2000s! Brought back memories :)

@timbattman5038 I didn't say its legal. it was done at a friend's of a family house who was a tattooist at the time. got it half the price and its not on the books. now I'm 34 and have tattoos on every limb, chest and back.

Love all your reactions. I was put off ever having a tattoo at the age of 15 after seeing a movie called Escape from Sobibor about a concentration camp in the war. In the film the Jews that had tattoos were killed first and their skin made into lampshades and other ghastly things. I suspect thats why they don't like getting tattoos.

The names are confusing - the sons have similar nicknames and Simon Bird is so known as Will in inbetweeners (plus the inbetweeners has a Simon to confuse everyone more) so he really doesn't suit the name Adam comparative to Will or Simon and the character Jonny could be an inbetweeners character (a bit like Jay in looks and silliness). Then the parents who are easier to remember the names of are called mum and dad a lot so you don't always hear their names.
The show did so much right but I don't think the people behind the names pulled their weight! (Unless they were going for generic names to make it more about the family dynamic than individuals).
