I have used one close to this actually! Was before the points changes. I do like the regiment a good bit, gives some movement and flexability that we lack, but i usually just use bilepiper for body guard. Easier to keep a small hero by your general. If outdropped bilepiper would be body guard and blights is +2 move, if not then bilepiper has +2 move and i usually put the command trait on him as well. Keeping the staff on lord of blights.
@raymondlane small detail but i buy it! Had a game against LRL alarith today. Went 44:30 on limited Ressources. The varghulf was worth it, the Morbheg not so much. Glottkin Was a hard bully and the warscroll spell from rotigus was gold. The +2 inch charge got me an early charge with Plaguebearers, the Bodyguard did nothing.
