Started watching your channel in Aug. Love sitting down and watching through an entire game. Got me back in to the hobby after burning out this year. It would be awesome to see the battle plan in the video title (not sure how the algorithm feels about it) so if I’m prepping for an event I can watch you play through as part of my prep. Liked and Subbed for Tzeentch content. I run Tzaangor DoT as well, with the difference in our list being i run 2 units of Enlightended on disc in the third regiment instead of 20 tzaangors. both Shaman back the 20 man blob and the enlightened help get the battle tactics and hunt enemy scoring units

This is one of those shocking games when taking a double is very poerful. i hear so much that the double has very little impact on the game, but the DoS players game is completely cripled thinking the opponent goes twice. he could only play conservative on the second turn to prevent the damage of the all in double. Creates a very bizarre " choose your adventure" kind of fork in the road. So much impacts the ability to act twice. If something can block two turns in a row, it also is too powerful.
How are you finding using Rotigus over The Glottkin? I found Rotigus very underwhelming when I tried him and he seemed to do little to no damage. Perhaps I was unlucky and it skewed my opinion. What are the pros and cons of Rotigus vs Glottkin for you? Extra spares points Better at casting That’s where it ends?
I believe your opinion to be correct! Rotigus is better at casting, especially for casting on your opponents turn. His spell is good, but unreliable and really on shines turns 3-5 and is just straight countered by trolls, sylvaneth, soulblight and other healing armies. Glottkins damage is much higher and is only 60 points more. Its casting vs damage. Was experimenting a lot with rotigus because he has a nice potential synergy with bursting pustules, and can help cast more utility spells we might not have had the slot for before like buboes and quagmire, while still getting the -1 to wound spell off. The conclusion so far is hes better then he was with the new passive and small point drop he got, but if it was a tournament list. he wouldnt be able to fight Glottkin for that slot, possibly a guo if I wanted Febrile frenzy for a foot soldier style list
@@raymondlane Yeah I agree with the above. Ideally I'd leave the Glottkin at home also, to avoid any juicy targets for my opponent but then you have little to no damage output outside of a GUO. I was interested to see you feeling out the 2 drop and leaving out Horticulous. I often do this myself but can quite tell how I feel about it. Ideally I'd prefer Gutrot, to force your opponent to deploy conservatively while also threatening an early easy Take Land. But 290pts doesn't feel good value for it.

Sorry to be that guy, but on Tzeentch, turn one. When you covering fired, you split your attacks and you need to attack the closes enemy unit, right?

@@maxbarton613 I still love gutrot, but hes hard to justify in a 2 drop, hes excellent value in a 3-4 drop though.
