Good evening, Philip and family. It's a very nice post, some educational parts too. I like to learn about the Ameridian heritage in Guyana. It's a very beautiful farm that they are harvesting the cassava and other vegetables and fruits. It's great to see how they are using the cassava. I'm sure this will be one of the most memorable vacation for your children. You guys have a wonderful night ❤❤️💪💪👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙏🙏🇬🇾🇬🇾💯💯
if you soak that cassava overnight (tie the bag and drop it in the water), the skin peels off very easily. No need for the painstaking peeling and scraping. In Brazil, we soak it. Great video !!
In my small(teenager) days,we used to use a garden fork to tickle up the soil behind the cassava tree root( that is to avoid damaging/boring the cassava). This is to make the process of pulling less difficult. Then, we used pack the cassava sticks(old plants)flat on the gruond(in a decent fashion) so as to make re-planting easier. Maybe, you guys could give it a try. Use a large feed bag to carry the pumkins. It is easier and you avoid damaging (bursting )it .😊😂 Farm life is wonderful indeed.. Keep up your good work.!
Hi Hello, I have seen Cassava used in different countries around the globe I enjoy seeing this complete process of bread making. Your Grandmother works so hard hard , the older generation can work rings around today generation her memories are priceless ❤🇺🇸
First saw your video and man I was graving to see this part of Guyana .. and you haven’t used the word like other raw Guyanese utube: life can’t get better than this.those words sound like a soar to hear from the others. Thanks 🙏 you and your fam.. it’s an enjoyable wilderness Beautiful journey. Quick Question 🙋♀️: where is this place incase I missed it in the beginning of your video ..? 🙏 ❤🇨🇦
This reminds me of living in Black Bush Polder, fresh produce, nothing beats the fruit of thy labour, eat healthy, great video, watching from NY QNS. Love farming 🧺😁😁🧺
In uganda, we peel off the second outer(BITTER0 layer ofF the cassava and chop the cassava into small pieces AND leave it under the sun until it dries hard before we gringd it to fine flour
What is the name of the reduced down starchy “jam” or “preserve” stuff? Thousands of miles away and the grated cassava steamed cooked is a dish called attieké ,garri, Attoukpou in the Ivory Coast in west Africa!! ❤ 😋
Philip, my husband, and I enjoy looking at all your adventures. can you please do a birthday shout out to my husband Ali his birthday is on August 26 greetings are coming from his wife, Sarah, mom and dad. We love him very much thank you.❤
