Richard Mowatt aka Solarstone is responsible for some of the biggest classics in EDM history. The UK producer/DJ didn't only bring us the seminal classics 'Solarcoaster, 'Like A Waterfall' and 'Jump The Next Train' plus more recent anthems 'The Spell', 'Fireisland' & 'Jewel; he's also one of the masterminds (together with Andy Bury) behind 'Seven Cities' - an all-time favourite that won't fade anytime soon.
For 2013, Solarstone himself has given it a #PureTrance upgrade - his 'Pure' Mix injecting that extra push of energy and bass-work. Italian producers Antillas & Dankann go full out on feel-good, giving it that playful stir of prog-house, without losing its original vibe.
Polish producer Thomas Datt on the other hand, kept his focus on the uplifting and trancey side of 'Seven Cities', providing a solid remix for the trance junkies - as does Romania's Almar who pulls no punches with his rousing, melodic mix.

I remember the first time i heard this song.... It was in the desert of Phoenix
AZ, October of 1999... It was my first Rave ever... i'd been dancing all night, and was sitting around a fire with many of my new friends... the sun was just starting to rise and reach magical rays out across the sands, the light was reflecting on the freckled smiling face of a beautiful red headed girl i was snuggling with under a blanket by the fire.
It took me 10 years to finally hear it again, and figure out the name of the song.
I never knew her name, only her sweet kisses...

Beautiful sound to a great sunset over the county Durham country side. Not as good as your story but still was a good moment for us before having to graft

I remember that bit between 6:10 and 6:40 on the dancefloors, people not knowing what was gonna happen next, and that BANG, another huge melody, which sent the dancefloors wild & crazy, haha!! I was born in '84. Some tracks when I was growing up as a person just felt back then, AND KEEP CONFIRMING AS THE YEARS GO BY, as milestones in this artform that is trance music. This is one of them. The meaning keeps alive no matter how many years go by. I am just so very grateful that I got to experience this as I was growing up as a young teen and then a young adult and now it's like I've found all my life there has been these utterly beautifully reach parallelisms in these tracks for my life and my hopes for the future - it's almost unbelievable to imagine it was so deep so many years ago. Oh man, the joy of being a human and alive. Cheers all.

Trance in itself is a very broad/vague genre. Similar to pop (or I guess in your case, Justin Bieber) is a lot more easily to associate with other people, whereas trance is more of an acquired taste. It's like comparing different relaxation methods, it either works or it doesn't. In your case, I'm going to assume you dislike (and not hate) Justin Bieber, or others for being tasteless(?)
Ronald Chae I don't think that Trance music is an acquired taste. From the moment I first heard it in the 90's I was hooked. I think some people must just not know how to listen to it which I find frustrating because I want to share it with everyone I meet ha ha
