Paroled after 20 years in 2011 his parole was recently revoked after a couple of crimes that concerned authorities. He now continues to rot in prison. Stay in school kids
Love, 51, was 18 when he stabbed 23-year-old Turmel 17 times, killing her for her night’s earnings on May 17, 1990. He made off with less than $130. Love was convicted of second-degree murder in June 1994, receiving a life sentence with no possibility of parole for 20 years. Still, he ended up receiving day parole in 2011 and moved to full parole in 2012. Until 2019, the parole board said there were no concerns with Love’s adherence to his parole terms. But in 2020, he entered a relationship that his family and parole officer described as “negative and unhealthy” and involved continual “domestic turbulence,” according to the parole board. Love was charged with mischief in January 2021 for smashing several windows on the woman’s vehicle with a baseball bat. He was convicted and served 30 days in jail. The parole board gave him a reprimand and mandated he go to counselling and report any relationships with women, but did not revoke his parole. “Your (case management team) found that with your deteriorated performance under supervision and dishonesty, your risk had escalated and become unmanageable. Warrants were issued for your apprehension and suspension.” The board revoked Love’s full parole, noting he had “returned to (his) crime cycle” and had breached multiple conditions of his parole relating to the Aug. 22 event and his subsequent lies.
Poor woman, murdered for so little. The murderer was given life, but obviously didn't serve that sentence. Police must get frustrated, working hard to track criminals, only to see them out on the streets again. 8ts not as if he was rehabilitated.
Wow the cop from the first story, never gave up! And the fact he still keeps in contact, with the Boyfriend and the victims parents, is amazing! We should strive to hire cops like that in the USA
you guys had a case 6 years ago where the investigator actually adopted the son of a murderer who killed his mother and sister in Florida and left that boy for dead .That idiot murderer i think his last name was Oneal?
This is an awesome series on true crime. The narrator is among one of the best I have ever heard, and I've heard many. One thing that makes this series unique is the music... it's terrific! It's not distracting like in some other stories, but rather it adds to the narrating, enhancing it with the occasional wail of a saxophone. Now that is a great touch! It reminds me of the music from some of the old police dramas from back in the day. Back then the bars and clubs had live music that featured the sax, and the trumpet at times, very heavily. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this series possible!🎉
The narrator is Graham Greene, a First Nations Canadian. He has been on stage, TV and movies (Dances with Wolves) I like his pace and voice for the earlier series of Exhibit A.
Why should murderer Love expect a woman to resist him: his Mommy always gave him everything. Up to, and including an airplane ticket to the family reunion. Selfish, spoiled, shite.
I'll never understand how a criminal in the US can face a decades long sentence for something like financial fraud/embezzlement, but a violent one who commits murder, even multiple murders, can walk away almost scot-free, with the chance of parole. Too many humans value money more than life, huh?

I can't believe detectives doing evidence recovery (the weapons and stolen key to the armored truck at 1:06:04) would just be picking things up and touching the items with their bare hands. So much for evidence handling protocols and evidence bags. 😮
Had a white woman not been victimized the native women's deaths would never have been identified as murders. Not that they officially were and not that any of the native women received justice. This is the way Canada has always treated natives, as less than.

That Barbarous barber ? waking up he says ,... with dead bodies ; well ,how frequently convenient, we all know what Jimmy Saville(Uk) did with dead bodies. The Police should have realised, what his 'core reason' was waking up with dead bodies & his beastial intention every time & diligent autopsy of semen his DNA could prove.
