I wasn't making an item of clothing but a baby change mat with four corners of binding. I would never have been able to achieve a neat finish without this tutorial. Thank you so much, Karina.

    So helpful! I wasn't able to do the side seam for my coda this way with the 3 layers of quilted fabric. I think there's a limit to how thick the fabric can be. But it was perfect for the square corners

    I’ve been umming and ahhing over this coat. I hate boxy clothes. I have my fingers crossed you will do the version with the FBA. It’s not shown in any way i can detect on their web page. You just about always jump on the same issues i have, and coincidentally show me how to fix them. ☺️

    I wonder why you start on the wrong side and topstitch on the right side and not the other way round?

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because the right side is the visible side and that’s the one that has to look the neatest… so that’s why I topstitch like that. If I did it from the wrong side, there’s no way the right side would look neat. Also, the way I do it guarantees that the wrong side is all caught in the stitch.

    Just a question why are people's faces always on their thumbnails, sometimes they make weird faces too. I never watch those kind of vids.

    • @LiftingPinsandNeedles
      @LiftingPinsandNeedles  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Research shows that a face can be recognisable over time and people tend to click on videos with a face on the thumbnail. The silly faces, that’s just dumb…. I couldn’t do it. I’m just myself and smile because that’s my personality.
