- All the basics on how to win with Elementals, and some advanced strategies to help you on the way to your wins! Please post any thoughts or ideas on how you win with Elementals that are not listed! These are the basic core strategies for the Elementals!
I am trying This slightly new format, and see what people think! Let me know if you think we are moving in a good direction.

Patch 29.4.2 Party Elemental Changed 3/2 After you play an Elemental, give a friendly Elemental other than it +2/+1 No change in play style
Molten Rock Changed to a 3/3 No other change. Play change in play style.
Flourishing Frostling Changed to Tier 5 2/1 Has +2/+1 for each Elemental played this Game(wherever this is) No change in play style.
Lil' Rag Added Tier 4 4/4 After you play an Elemental, give a friendly minion stats equal to the Elemental's Tier. Play style not bad with Spell Elementals, but not great either as the buff would be rather small. VERY good with late game Rock Rock builds as you are cycling Elementals all the time making this a VERY powerful build with any tribe since it buffs anything. You just need to cycle elementals.
Fiery Felblood Changed to a 2/1 otherwise the same. No Change to play style.
Gentle Djinni Removed from the game :(

First time viewer, and this deep dive got an immediate subscribe from me. Things like this are immensely helpful to people that are on the mid tier but want to breakthrough and join the upper tier. People like me. Looking forward to more deep dives and hopefully (for me at least) some guides to unusual builds that aren't the norm. Got quickly fed up with Quilboars and Dragons all day and all night. I'm glad the patch came out today to nerf both of those tribes a bit.
Once I finish the tribe guides I will be jumping into many other things again. It just takes so much time!

1 Error, Party Elemental never buffs the card you are recycling. "After you play an elemental, give a friendly elemental +1/+1". So it never buffs the new card or itself.
It's still not super good card, but it might be better than some other minions your shop offers, and helps you to push higher tier shops. I don't recommend the card, but first tier 2 shop might only have this card, so it might be pretty okay.
Thank you! I did not state what I meant correctly at all! I was referring the wanting 2 Party Elementals, AND the cycle elemental. It is definitely one of those cards that after turn 5 I NEVER want to see again.

Thank you for the video, I always thought living Azerite was a bad card, but the builds you suggested sound pretty good. Now I’m definitely going to lose some MMR as I do every time I watch your back to basics videos. The things you show are so cool that I try to stupidly force them every single game until it works and end up losing because of that 😂

i was so happy when magmaloc came back bc he was so good when he came out but then i noticed that he was underperforming compared to the new cards and in went "what the hell? this is not the magmaloc i remenber"

I ended up here because of the How to play series last season. I have to say I'm staying here too! Be it for the patch notes or the how to play series.

Thank you for the kind words! I used to do highlight games, and to be honest they just did not get any views. I did it for a long time, and while looking around at TH-cam I saw that was just what EVERYONE did. It is hard to compete with top 10 players to say the least. That being said since those videos did so poorly it made TH-cam's algorithm basically leave the channel to obscurity. Since I have stopped doing them the channel does much better now. That being said maybe one day again!

I used to do just that! In the newer guides I wanted to go longer, and in my thought process that would mean including A LOT of Heroes. I am still on the fence about to include them or not,
Maybe I misunderstood what you were saying about the party elemental but the "other than it' part,that they added in the change, refers to the elemental that was played triggering the buff. It will no longer buff the elemental that was just played, only elementals that were already on the board. If party elemental is the only elemental on you have it will buff itself every time you cycle a new one.
I think I should of been more clear if I am not understanding what you are saying correctly. If I run Party Elementals I only want 2, and the other is the cycle minion. Mostly because I feel that by itself it is kind of meh.
@@Heretic721 Gotcha. When you said "have the stats wasted on the elemental you intend to cycle" I thought you were referring to the old way that it worked. Where it could sometimes buff the elemental you just played. Thanks for clarifying. I find your videos very helpful.
I take it that based on which tribes youve done first, elementals and nagas are currently considered the bottom two tribes? Im only 4.3k mmr in duos atm and dont play that much (only when my friend is on) and this is what ive suspected. These 2 tribes seem to be harder to use for less effect to me. I typically always go quillboar if they are available, and if not, then murloc, undead or mechs.
The tribes I have been doing so far are the ones least likely to see dramatic nerfs/buffs. They are middle road to me. The data I look at currently says Murlocs/Pirates are the weakest. Although I am doing Pirates right now!
Fun thing happened to me yesterday with "Elemental of surprise" the T6 card that triples any 2 elementals, i had it triple with the card that has all types and gives one minion of each type +1/+1 permanently when it takes damage. When it was made golden it bugged and for the rest of the game it said (0 remaining) and never buffed anything again
I had a KT undead bug my board in duos last week. Dropped all the health of my board to 1
I have read about similar bugs making the rounds on Reddit. Hopefully we get a bug fix patch soon!
