I just used this video to make a link today. I selected "website" and built it from there; however, I didn't use her template. I used a Canva template and used hers as a guide for ideas. If you toggle between the desktop and mobile icons, you will see how your site looks on both platforms. Be sure to check "resize for mobile" before you publish your website.
This is great thanks so much. One question: when i open the link on instagram it doesn’t seem to be mobile view but it seems to be a desktop view everything is large. When I open the link in safari it’s the mobile view,… any tips

This was so so very helpful. Just a quick question that I got a little confused on. When I create a free link tree website, I plug in what I want my link to say. So why would I need to shorten that for Instagram? Wouldn’t the link be what I entered? What would cause that to change ? Thanks in advance - I am not tech savvy LOL
The Canva link is quite long, so I was just saying if you wanted to shorten the link, you can use a website like Bit.ly to shorten it, but it definitely isn't necessary! ❤️
I make pages for my team and was wondering, is there a way to duplicate the original page and edit with new information or would we have to create each page from scratch?
Great video! This is an awesome option for people instead of linkedtree. Do you have any troubleshooting tips for people who publish the website as scrolling and then for some reason when they copy and paste the link into their Instagram it switches the mode so it is no longer in scrolling but instead appears to be in presentation mode? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
When I go to open the page initially it will appear that I can scroll and everything looks fine, it's just when I use the copy and pasted link. I've also tried changing it to other options as well (standard, classic, etc) and it always defaults to presentation when I use the link that I've copied/pasted.

You could link a payment link on the page you create yes, but you'd have to be using a payment software like Paypal or Wave App. You can't take payments directly through Canva. ❤️
Canva won't let me add a link to any of the elements. Also publishing the website is different for me. I don't know if this video is out of date or if I did something wrong. I used the template and everything.
i tried sharing the link created via text and the photo preview is the original canva design not mine??? Any idea on how to change this, id like to share the link with my followers that opted in via text message.

Canva has removed that option for mobile-first website for some reason
Just noticed that too so you’ll go into “websites” when it asks “what will you design today” then scroll until you see “bio link website”
