- GMA News TV's "Pluma" is a docudrama produced to commemorate national hero Jose Rizal's 150 birth anniversary. Narrated by Howie Severino and starring Rocco Nacino as Rizal, "Pluma" is a historic piece that traces the evolution of Rizal's writings. It shows how Rizal was able to document every stage of his life himself through his writings, detailing the crucial situations he faced as a nationalist.
"Pluma" is a finalist in the 2012 New York Festivals. It is one of nine finalists coming from GMA News and Public Affairs.

Rizal was not the author of "Sa aking mga kabata". May line sa tula that talks about "sanlang kalayaan" but at the time Rizal was 8 yrs old, Philippines never experienced kalayaan since the Spanish Colonization. Another proof is that the original copy of the poem that "Rizal wrote" used "k" characters even though that time, "k" was not introduced but they use "c" and "q" insted of "k". Another proof is that it has Rizal's signature. A signature similar to the Nationalist Rizal signature.

Jose Rizal was never anti-revolution. Ang gusto nya peaceful separation from Spain. Unti-unti ang peg nya.. Sa La liga Filipina reporma ang gusto nya at maging province ng Spain ang Pilipinas, but infact, nung nasa ibang bansa pa lang si Rizal with his friend Blumentritt nagreresearch na nya na meron na daw government ang Pilipinas even before Spanish colonization. So its clear, he was also aiming for complete independence.
But Rizal really was anti-revolution. He condemned the revolution especially because they were fighting under his name. He was a reformist and wished that Spain would recognize Filipinos as equals. Yes, he wanted complete independence but he knew Filipinos weren't ready for that so he didn't push for it at the time.
@@humanityyy actually pabago bago po ang isip ni Rizal, yes Rizal knew that Filipinos weren't ready for revolution that time that's why he didnt join the revolution (twice) but later on when when Pio Valenzuela had a conversation with Rizal in Dapitan, Rizal gave him some advice about the revolution, like joining forces with Antonio Luna because Rizal knew that Luna is an Ilustrado and at the same time. he is close to people, it means he had the power to lead and guide them. If Rizal wan an anti-revolution then he shouldn't gave advice to pio in the first place . Rizal was just waiting for the right time to strike that's why he hesitate on helping the revolution but we also cant blame Andres Bonifacio in building an alliance because people that time are suffering to the Spaniards, and since Spaniards have already settled in the Philippines for 300 years, Andres couldn't take it anymore that's why he already act.

Correct me if Im wrong but Rizal did not actually write the poem Sa Aking Mga Kabata, dahil during his childhood, wala pang tagalog word for freedom. Meron pa nga sulat si Rizal para kay Paciano nung nag aaral sya sa Madrid na tinatanong nya kung ano daw ba sa tagalog yung freedom or liberty. Kaya its very unlikely na si Rizal ang sumulat nun.
Sabe ng prof namen. Maaaring si Rizal ang sumulat ngunit may ibang nag didikta. Hindi naten masasabe, dahil ang salitang kalayaan sa panahong iyon ay madalang gamitin ng mga tao.

Yan talaga tayong mga pinoy na lalaki likas na malalambing kaya di nakakapagtaka na madami din sa ating mga pinoy na my kaparehas na dayuhang magagandang babae. 😊✌👍
