I really miss seeing Eddie, Paul, David, Dennis, Melvin perform live. The excitement waiting for them to come on stage. And never wanted them to leave the stage.
You need to thank Otis Williams for bringing such great singers together, and without him KEEPING THE HARMONY TIGHT, singing sceond tenor to compliment Eddi's high tenor. The harmony that you all so love........Would be SH-TY
I always wanted to see a video of them singing this, just absolutely fantastic. I also sang this way back in 1971...Eddie is one of my favorite tempts of all time...
Eddie Kendrick's is just remarkable his velvet voice just sends chills down my spine love, love, Eddie Kendrick's and David Ruffin they definitely were real singer's
Omg! Put on head phones and listen to Melvin towards the end of the song , he is killing it!!! Omg omg omg this bass man sounds so good he make my heart omg!
Hi edagdwg thanks for sharing this story of what happens when God gives gifts of joy to the world hearing these men singing about what time will bring people together no matter what is happening now Linda j peace ❤️💯💯💯☮️☮️☮️☮️☁️
Just wondered if this was definitely 1969, on the Andy Williams Show? According to BBC Genome, The Temptations featured on the show twice, once in 1970 (Monday, 5 January) and 1971 (Thursday, 11 February), on BBC1.
They had two eras in my opinion. Not sure how David would of fit in the cloud 9 funkadelic era. However Otis has said the classic 5 era is his favorite. And David def left his mark
@@MsTrueTy their's one era and one era only between the 60's to the 80's the Temptations had great value between Ruffin's Arrival to his Departure going towards Edwards Arrival. My Girl, Cloud Nine Ain't too Proud to Beg and Psychedelic Shack are no contest to judge who's the better Singer their all great Singers
This is why the Tempts are the greatest group ever....because they could sing ANYTHING.....not just R&B and soul
I agree
My thoughts exactly!!

Yep. And with all their many stand out voices and various lead singers, it was still "the group", the collective-the Temptations-which was the star.
Well Otis is still performing. The rest are in heaven.

This particular episode/performance was aired on December 13, 1969.
Keep them coming!
Outstanding
Lovely ❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Disco, have you ever read Richards book? I haven’t read Otis’ book yet but Richards was real eye opening.
Sing it Eddie Kendrick 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾♥️❤️❤️🥰
Awesome
One of my favorites
I think Philip Bailey was influenced by Eddie Kendricks. Love this Pop/Soul Rendition.
Not just Bailey: Prince, Michael Jackson, Hall and Oates, the Beatles, the Eagles...
Eddie Kendricks is so passionate and tender and warm and seductive
Bianca Simmons cramps
Love this song
Geniuses!
I can hear them singing the star spangled banner magic in there voices 🎵🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵💞💕
Good version. I would recommend this song by JOHNNY MATHIS as well

Hey @disconights1987 a while back you had the temptations show posted but I don't see it here in TH-cam anymore 😔 do you still have it somewhere?
I wonder did they fall for real lol crazy 😂

One of my favorite songs of theirs
Hope for tomorrow
Can Boyz2Men do this song in this key and this arrangement? New Edition? Any "Boy Band?" Nope! #Temptations4Ever!
The Temptations Was Better When David Ruffin Was in the Group
Not really!
😂
