- I head to Blackpool Pleasure Beach on a really quiet weekday in October! Join me as I get back on ICON, The Big One and many more of my favourite rides at the park along with sharing even more updates. This includes a look at the Halloween decorations around the park along with experiencing some of the awesome classic rides that Blackpool Pleasure Beach has to offer!

This vlog felt like a treat for the older subscribers, there's a certain feel to the Shawn-alone vlogs, like he'll never be lonely because the fans keep him company, whilst I love and overall prefer Charlotte along as well, and I do think that was a wonderful direction to take, this is nostalgic for me, this vlog. I do hope to see Charlotte well and back with Shawn in the parks soon, as she now keeps him company and vice-versa, and we as the fans can just feel good that they found each other, and the chemistry/love is a joy to behold.

Certainly was a quiet day on Tuesday. Managed to get FIFTEEN rides on Icon by the end of the day! (mainly because I had done absolutely everything else already) Hopefully we’ll see crowds again in the park again for 2025.

I was in Pleasure Beach with my friend on the 2nd of October. It was quiet then too so a lot of rides were walk on. We had a lot of fun. 🙂
I still love Icon and I agree with you 100% has more airtime than Hyperia it’s also longer lol

When I last went Blackpool I was so exited for infusion as I had never done an SLC before (I came off with bruises on me)

I was there 21st September for late night riding. Park was busy great atmosphere just like back in the 90s.

Went last august 2023 I niece’s first big rollercoaster was the big one will be going to Thorpe Park just waiting for my hip to get better for me to go on all the rides as I love rollercoasters x

Sadly that park is dying very slow and remember when I use to visit 90s OK long time ago, but the place was absolutely buzzing it was busy and along the prom too, it's sad to see how it looks today

I’ve been to BPB and i’ve loved it sooo much but both times it feels like I didn’t have enough time to appreciate it enough (i went with other people and couldn’t stay for the whole day) but hopefully in a few years i’ll be able to visit more often and just take it all in, same with other parks like AT & PortAventura. great video as usual 🎉

Despite the park not being busy on a weekday in October, it’s nice of you to make a return visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and ride some of the park's awesome rides (i.e. Icon, The Big One, etc.)

We went last month for the first time in many years, we loved it! Icons fantastic! We did Valhalla but can’t remember much due to being saturated on the first bend!! 😂✨

Pleasure Beach Express is exactly what Alton Towers needs or something similar. Maybe fix the cable cars after how many years?

I must admit I know it’s old but it hasn’t aged well the big one. It is a rickety junker. It feels like it’s derailing half way through 😂 still iconic though

That sign is wrong,The Big One is only 235ft above sea level,its only 213 ft and it was,nt the fastest in the world when it opened in 1994.Steel Phantom was doing 85 where Big one is only 72.But excellent video.

Love this video and adore pleasure beach. Great operations and they look after the park so well. Was last here in September on a low capacity day which was great and a contrast to a busy late night riding day in August which was also brilliant. Looking forward to new developments

I last went to BPB in June for a school trip, my school goes every year.
I will be visiting on the last day of the season, I have the Boulevard hotel booked for 2 nights for my husband’s birthday. I didn’t know that there is going to be fireworks though, so that’s a bonus. Hopefully we will see you and can get a photo. We did the last day of the season last year which was a Sunday. It was very quiet and bitterly cold, especially on the flying machines but we had a brilliant day. Best day we’ve had in a theme park. Also the pizza buffet in Nic land is really good (not like Aramark’s rubbish food) so we will probably do that!

Blackpool pleasure beach was the place where I first met you Shaun back in the construction of Icon and the last time I was there was back in August when my grandad took us for a nice day out there

We last visited last year its difficult for us to go every year as we live in the midlands its a min 1hr 30 to any themepark so we have to pick and choose what we are able to go to in a season.
For all the coasters they have for us nothing would beat the fun we had as a family on river caves

Icon is still the best coaster in the UK and it's still just about in my top 10.
I love Icon!
I went there on the 12th, wasn't too busy at all but the big one did have to close due to the wind.
The grand national was shut for the Halloween event later but they did open ikon and big dipper instead so i got tons on night rides. ikon is very good

Last time I was there was in september on a off peak day so got a ton of rides on my favourite in the uk Icon. I rode hyperia for the first time last week (middle, front and ended with the back) and I love it but for me there is just something about icon that imo puts it at number 1

Hyperia is world class above the rest in the UK. The Big One is basically a glorified monorail & icon Is just “a good ride”

I would like you to review freak night @ Blackpool if you can fit it in. Was my first time going to the event this year and although I really enjoyed it, I thought they were seriously lacking with scares in the ticketed mazes excluding twisted hollows .Also thought the Wallace and Gromit attraction would have been amazing if they had live actors inside. 2 minutes in going through the ride system in the dark was incredibly creepy and I was waiting for the scares that never happened. Can understand they probably can’t get many actors inside due to safety but it would have been great for a couple and would have made it a top scare attraction in my opinion. Lack of actors is a common theme in the Alice in the wonderland attraction and ghost train. It seemed like a lot of missed opportunities and I’d love to see what you think if you get chance to go. Ps sorry for the long comment.😂
