India's Jaishankar and China's Wang Yi Meet, Agree To Resolve Border Issues | Subscribe to Firstpost
India's Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar held talks with his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, on the sidelines of the SCO summit. During the meeting, the two officials discussed the border issues between India and China. In a statement, India's Ministry of External Affairs said the two ministers have agreed to "redouble efforts to achieve complete disengagement from the remaining areas in Eastern Ladakh." India said that restoring border peace and tranquillity is an important step to removing obstacles in bilateral relations. Jaishankar told his Chinese counterpart that the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the border dividing China and India, must be "respected."

China has proposed solutions on border issues multiple times during the past 70 years but all rejected by India. India insists on what it claims which is no way for China to swallow. These days both sides are just repeating what each side has said hundreds of times already. They just speak but not talk. Totally waste each other’s time.

@@user-sg7uv9no4d CCP didn’t create any border issue, rather it inherited all the legacy border issues from the previous government. China has actually already resolved most issues with neighboring countries or reached agreements to put border issues aside. The only two countries in exception are India and Philippine.
