Hi! Looks like the entrance to Rainbow Springs that you guys used was the KP Hole entrance. Just as an FYI in case you're ever in the area again, there's another park about 5 minutes up the street from where you guys were. That park is called Rainbow Springs State Park. Admission is only $2. They have a swimming hole area and also there's access to the river. There's also really cool walking trails and 3 waterfalls.

Was the kayak experience worth it? You didn't mention that. Did you see any wildlife; any manatees?
We loved that experience and the wildlife is all dependent on the time of the year. When we went it was colder so there were not a lot of manatees at this time. However, there are better times to visit to see it

Yes black people can experience that kind of stuff but most of us not going to get in no swamp looking lazy river that look like it has snakes and other creatures in the water, we have a different type of thinking but to each its own
