I'm not certain so don't quote me on this, but from what I gather, Karate has jumping kicks but they're (comparatively) simple. Acrobatic aerial kicks (the kind that involves flips, spins etc.) are very much Taekwondo only. Again I'm not certain.
@@Wright805 I was in karate for a few years and we were certainly drilled on spin kicks. Spinning crescent kick, spinning roundhouse, spinning hook (my personal fav), tornado kicks, and so on. There is a fair amount of crossover with karate and taekwondo. There were a few students working on flip kick variants, but flip kicks weren't really something that was worked on so i'm sure that's something that's more taekwondo related.
