Bjorn was right when he said on a UK interview that he was surprised Under Attack didn't become a big hit at the time. This song is awesome! Pure ABBA!!!🎊
Under Attack was a very good song but I think the fans were used to more melodic songs from Abba. The expectation of ABBA songs was very high then and still is today. With any other band, Under Attack would probably have been a big hit.
I really agree with you. The arrangements (instrumental and vocal) are colder than what people were used to from the band, and the song is probably too midtempo for its own good. They were trying to adapt to the times, however, you have to give them that, even though the effort was half-convincing (in my opinion, at least).
The song is too laid back and generic to have been a hit. No offense but the women are dressed like wealthy 40 year olds in the video. This did not sell well in the new MTV era that was just beginning. ABBA's low budget film based music videos in the mid 1970's were ahead of their time and novel, but this video appears to be a low budget obligation compared to the newer music video themes coming out at the time.

Here in Austria, no ones really Knows ABBA (some do.) Everytime a Song comes on, on the Radio. I max the Volume and sing along. The Shame is worth it. ABBA brightens my day!
Maybe the younger generation these days don't know them much, but the older generation def know Abba, they were talk no. 1 in the 70's to early 80's, but were ousted in the early 80's by the New Wave & New Romantics movement/scene.
Absolutely correct.... But today they sold more than 400 million albums... not to mention Bennys musical successes... Try to get to Stockholm and go the Mama Mia the Party... Currently the Greatest show in Europe....
There will never be another ABBA. That kind of music writing talent or genius just doesn’t come along everyday. I loved them as a child and at 50, I’m still listening to them.❤️
I really do agree with you. And that makes two of us. I am 54 and have listen to them since the were called "Festfolket". And I was 6 y.o when they won the E.S.C 1974. And at the same time, I agree with everone else that it's so incredible difficult to choose one favorite song. In my point of view it depends on in which mood you are.
Hearing this song takes my breath away that it's one of the last ones, especially since it's a band after unnecessary weddings and divorces. this song is about ABBA, the band and marriages that didn't need to happen. I'm so sorry it didn't work out. the song is one of those eternal ones. I love ABBA.
I've listened to a lot of ABBA songs. I'd never heard this one, and again it goes right near the top of my favourite songs. Seriously, Benny and Bjorn are the best songwriters in history. Sure, lots of great songwriters exist. But how many have this level of consistency with every single song?
Look at the "Chart history" (in wiki) one could not help wondering what's going on with all the "major market" countries -- UK, France, Aus all gave this song ("the best thing they've done in three years" according to Rolling Stone) extreamly low rankings while in smaller countries such as Holand, Belgem the ranking looks more normal --5th and 2nd place repectively. The name of the song shouldn't be suggesting anything right?
According to Agnetha, they ended it because it was no longer fun, like it was in their earlier days. Pure and simple, they got sick of it. And one can't fault them for that. Also, just for your information, The Beatles didn't break up because John Lennon died, they broke up because John Lennon left the group. That, and they were sick to death of each other. It happens.
Where are you getting this shit from? There was a Gay man who managed the group for a time: his name was Brian Epstein and he died in 1967 at the age of thirty-two. McCartney was married to women at least three times and had relationships with a couple others: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_relationships_of_Paul_McCartney
Oh spare me PLEASE. Lennon and McCartney both said that the breakup was coming on as far back as ABBEY ROAD. As for blaming Yoko Ono, You might just as well blame Linda McCartney.
The Beatles broke up because their egos got too big. John was full on “I’m God’s gift” and started thinking he was bigger than the Beatles. Paul was like a nazi over musical control, it couldn’t go on and it didn’t.
Actually, yes. It sounds like a hit. Thanks for the recommendation Björn! To think that they finally got together. After 50 years of waiting. Wonderful!
love this song and the last song of their repertoir . Every singer is unique fue to their vocals but with ABBA there is something that is different, they are more than unique. I don't know how to define but they are eternal. Their vocals go beyond any concept of beauty. I started listening to them when I was 12 and now in my fifties I have the same sensations . Thanks ABBA for making me special because of your music
This song sounds so futuristic and I love it. They look like strangers in the video, you can tell it's not the same anymore and it's a bit awkward...it's sad but also interesting to see. Them walking out like that at the end is kind of fitting since this was the last single they ever released...until this year.
I hope the guys printed the original masters on something other than digital for prosperity and museums.....This is so pure and sound wise ahead of its contemporaries at the time. ABBA deserves a place in recording history, as well, not just melodies and rythm in pop music like Rodgers & Hammerstein for what they did for musical theatre...The melodic rhythm is just there...
In the end we had a band of immense talent. Two sublime songwriters and two exceptionally beautiful singers bringing us the sheer genius of this band. They were a one off. A one of a kind. They gave the world marvelous unsurpassed music. This was their goodbye to the world they brought so much joy to.....we still miss them...
This video is like a prophecy. When they walked out of the warehouse at the end; they walked out of our lives. They walked out of ABBA. They walked out of world superstardom. They walked out of their marriages. They walked out of the business. They walked out of the public eye. It is sad. All we have left is their music, their videos, their youthfulness, their being happy couples........the good old days......when ABBA ruled the world. All we can do now is trade stories and reminisce. If you were fortunate enough to see them perform live it is something that is sure to remain one of the highlights of your life. Agnetha & Frida were the 2 most recognizable people on earth. When ABBA ruled the world.
And they walk into a bright light, like four angels who have blessed us for a time but now must return to heaven (or whatever you call the other side). Their music, thank God, will always be with us. I've loved them for nearly four decades and their music never gets old; all it takes to put a smile on my face is to hear that beautiful sound.
MrLeonard750 I think I read somewhere that their last single was actually "The Day Before You Came" but it was some time ago; I could be wrong and at any rate the two songs came out around the same time.
+Sara Rodrigues awwww, yah it kinda does suck if u look at it that way, but we can always still listen to all the brilliant music they created...and cherish it.
Is it just me or does this song during the chorus sound like its about 3 different awesome songs some how magically melded into one harmonious beautiful song.. It just amazing...
***** im nt sure what my fave abba song is, theyre all AMAZING... this and i am the city , i think maybe close... the whole visitors album is just incredible, oh what was , was, but wat could of been, could have been ? oh wow..im taking cover, hes on my track, my chasing lover.. best line ever...
Yep, the arrangement, like many an ABBA song makes excellent use of counterpoint (two or more different lines or melodies being played at the same time, dovetailing perfectly. Benny's layered synth/piano textures plus vocal harmonies and guitar here are also fantastc.
I was 9 when ABBA split and my (musical fantasy) world fell apart! On the positive side, they walked into the sunshine, which is very symbolic as well. It's all good. (But I must admit I would have loved to know how their sound would have further developed, had they continued to record together.)
Actually it didn't. Their two songs from 2018 failed to chart anywhere. That's not a slight at ABBA. It's just an acknowledgement that everyone has their time and ABBA's was 1972-82. The people of the 21st century love ABBA as the band of that time but they have heroes of their own to fill the 2018 pop charts. And rightly so. Today's pop stars are the nostalgia of forty years time.
Actually their song is still going to come it hasn't been released yet the name is but the song isn't you'll see that it will be a huge thing when they do release the song
@@TheGiantKillers Hi, I think their 2 new songs will be out in the middle of this year unless they delay it again. It was suppose to be out in Dec last year.
@rick frenay I think you'll find Abba's last Dutch chart hit was Thank You for the Music in 1983 which reached #23. As has already been mentioned. The full release of their two songs has been repeatedly delayed after the first received a lukewarm reception in pre-release.
Ronald de Rooij yeah I’ve heard that too. But I’ve also heard that they all “felt” that it was time to quit. I can’t wait to hear their new music later this year!! I look forward to being the only 20 year old in my college town driving around blasting ABBA! (Not just the Mamma Mia covers)
thesilverspider my favorite song is Elaine but listen to that song at a lower pitch while the song is played at a lower speed it sounds superior that way
They were certainly tired of working at this point. Frida was still that little bit heartbroken over Benny but was recovering. Agnetha was moving on with her own solo career and Bjorn and Benny were writing music for other projects. The writing was on the wall in 1981 when Benny and Frida split up more of less. It's a great shame that such an amazing worldwide band ended this way but some of the songs that were made in the final years are truly fantastic and are certainly unique in a terrific way. This being one of them. :-)
Deejay...Not that anyone gives a shit, but you mentioned Hasta Manana, one of the greatest love songs ever written and performed by ABBA. Oh, and I love every single song by Agnetha, every recording, every album, and everything else about her. Don't respond, Have a good day. Cheers!!!
Abba videos have always been so simple, and yet so fun to watch! This is a guilty pleasure for me. Agnetha's facial expressions, Frida breaking into the 80's looking like a character from Dynasty... 😜
I love them. I think they often look like they are explaining something to us as they sing, with engaging facial expression and eye contact. Like when someone talks to a child. I think this appeals to us. I also like Frida’s 80s look. Some people dis it, but I think is she is marvellous and stylish. Great, weird look and she can pull it off!
I saw some women in Germany in 2000s who still wore this look with leather, teased hair and blush on their cheeks! It’s not a bad look. Different and cool if you can pull it off.
***** its absolutely fluffing incredible, crank it in the car and tell me its not an absolutely brilliant song.. the music and lyrics are just amazing....Just incredible...
when they walked away through the gate, so heart crushing. Their music legacy will be enjoyed, loved, and respected for centuries to come. Thanks ABBA!
Under Attack would have been the perfect title for ABBA's 9th album, they began recording the album in 1982 shelved it and planned to carry on recording sessions in 1983 but as they took a break it never happened.
This always brings tears to my eyes. They're singing together and looking directly into the camera, and then together, they walk past the camera and just...leave. Their images almost vaporize at the end. It's like ABBA has gone to heaven. 👼
So few bands(groups) call it quits when the time is right according to them and NOT their fans. We had sooooo many albums that non of them disapointed. Saw them on their only North American tour. A bit of a clichè....Thank You Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha, and Frida, for the wonderful music. .
No group, super or not, goes on forever. Thank God they left us with wonderful songs, and many, many videos, which were all done before MTV. While we will never forget ABBA, we have TH-cam to take us back to visit them often.
Frida is last to look at the camera. Agnetha is the first to look away, then Bjorn followed by Benny. So much emotion in this video. The expressions and body language show a bittersweet end to a beautiful story.
My takeaway regarding the ending is both Benny and Frida and Bjorn and Agnetha stayed next to each other until the end, when they walked out of superstardom, with the ladies in the middle as they always were for so many years.
And with this last single and video ABBA took a break which ended up being a permanent one. There was no announcement of them disbanding. ABBA intended on coming back after a year or two but it was never to be. A lot of fans long for a reunion but I admire ABBA for calling it quits when they were on top. There are so many bands and artists that stay on too long and their music suffers and they end up tarnishing their legacy because their music becomes tired and uninspired. ABBA never had to suffer that fate and they have left us so many amazing songs!!! ABBA lives on forever!
Yep. Bjorn and Benny were doing music for musicals after this. The girls kept saying they were on a break, but over the years, Benny has said they would never perform together again. :(
Imagine how much they'd have made if they had lasted a few more years. They were just catching on in the states. They musically really hit their stride on the last two albums especially. Their music was so far ahead of their time. Best group ever!.
+Sebizzar but they couldn't because they're all divorced and it will be kinda awkward to work with your ex wife / husband , in a band that you created out of the fact that they are lovers...
Uh...They weren't just catching on in the states. "Dancing Queen" was the BIGGEST hit of ALL, mainly because it was their only actual #1 hit in the US.
even though dancing queen was their only number 1 hit, but they had alot of songs that charted in the top 10 and 20 which is still considered success in the USA.
The interesting thing about Under Attack is that the verses and the chorus are from two different songs that were merged together. To me, it's a great song and a great video.
In the chorus the transition to this minor chord creates such a mysterious sadness. I think they wanted to express with this song their own sadness that the band broke apart. Because of this short sad moment in the chorus whilst the rest are major chords I think they wanted to write here their personal goodbye song. So not just the video is a goodbye for the fans, the song I guess is also a goodbye for themselves and the fans. Thank God they made a new album. What an album! I shared a couple of tears. Beautiful music as always.
A really significant video in ABBA's final chapter in the pop music scene with the end of one era as a group and their new era with Agnetha and Frida as solo artistes and with Benny & Bjorn going into musical theatre. Great video for a great final hit for ABBA as a group back in 1982.
I doubt that will happen. ABBA is probably more popular than Brian David Gilbert. Also his version is way better than this, so nobody will come to this version.
Fantastic and timeless, their last song 😭, and when they walk out of the garage in this video there is a shining light, i think Scotty was there to beam them up into eternal stardom.
This is my buddy, Jimmy, and my favorite ABBA song! This arrangement! It is a dream! Benny and Bjorn are sheer genius. Do you know those popular songs we're hearing on the radio these days? They rarely go over a 3-4-chord limit! Usually so boring and unimaginative, barely a change that takes you off-guard, and you can't even tell if the person can legitimately sing being it is beyond apparent they are using a Melodyne voice-tuner. I know that Agnetha and Frida had various effects applied to their vocals, but they never needed a machine to sound incredible! I miss the 70s, he shouts out to whoever is reading this! :) ABBA, you need to tour again before it's too late!
There's a great blend of upbeat melody and subtle melancholy in this song. As ever, Agnetha is the confident style queen with her great operatic voice.
So many words to describe ABBA, but the best I think would be SOPHISTICATED. Their sound, songs, harmonies, style, class, and looks were, and continue to be untouchable.

Here in Austria, no ones really Knows ABBA (some do.) Everytime a Song comes on, on the Radio. I max the Volume and sing along. The Shame is worth it. ABBA brightens my day!
+Bill Jenson What the? They never were Boring.
He meant the songs of today.
Currently the Greatest show in Europe....
i have been guided here from the unequivocally best cover of this song of all time by a murder robot
BDG is a source of good in the world, and it's awesome when he points us to other sources of good, like this ABBA song right here
And three cool quadruplets
Probably one of their best songs ever. It's nearly perfect in every aspect of vocals, production & style.
youre absolutely right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agnetta has an extremely sonorous voice, each note is like the ringing of a golden bell.
UNBEATABLE ❤️❤️❤️
Yes
I never heard this before BDGs AAAAAAH!BBA rendition and I see how it can be a robot uprising song
It is so different from the rest of their catalog, it makes me wonder if this was patient zero for the whole AAAH!BBA experience.
There will never be another ABBA. That kind of music writing talent or genius just doesn’t come along everyday. I loved them as a child and at 50, I’m still listening to them.❤️
Geniuses that's the word ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really do agree with you.
And that makes two of us. I am 54 and have listen to them since the were called "Festfolket". And I was 6 y.o when they won the E.S.C 1974.
And at the same time, I agree with everone else that it's so incredible difficult to choose one favorite song. In my point of view it depends on in which mood you are.
shoutouts to 2winz^2... showed me the way to this awesome tune
This song is massively underrated , ABBA will live on forever. ❤️
This beautiful harmony will likely never happen again
the new songs are coming!
Fortunately yes!!! Couldn't be more happier. Glad to see ABBA is back after 40 years and releasing an entire album
Well....
Do I have some good news.
Perfect song to jam out to during the robot apocalypse!
this is possibly one of the most, if not the most underated song of all time
I've listened to a lot of ABBA songs. I'd never heard this one, and again it goes right near the top of my favourite songs. Seriously, Benny and Bjorn are the best songwriters in history. Sure, lots of great songwriters exist. But how many have this level of consistency with every single song?
I agree they were and are NUMBER ONE ❤️❤️❤️
The BEST music writers EVER ❤️❤️
Best music writers EVER 👍
Them with the beatles
*What a great song to go out on, it’s a masterpiece, such a shame it wasn’t/isn’t as popular as it deserves to be*
Look at the "Chart history" (in wiki) one could not help wondering what's going on with all the "major market" countries -- UK, France, Aus all gave this song ("the best thing they've done in three years" according to Rolling Stone) extreamly low rankings while in smaller countries such as Holand, Belgem the ranking looks more normal --5th and 2nd place repectively. The name of the song shouldn't be suggesting anything right?
It wasn't as popular, cos this song was "under attack"
At the end of the video, they come into the light... and almost 40 years later, they come out of it to release new songs!
Gone but never forgotten?......Thank you for the music ABBA.
McCartney was married to women at least three times and had relationships with a couple others:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_relationships_of_Paul_McCartney
Oh spare me PLEASE. Lennon and McCartney both said that the breakup was coming on as far back as ABBEY ROAD. As for blaming Yoko Ono, You might just as well blame Linda McCartney.
The Beatles broke up because their egos got too big. John was full on “I’m God’s gift” and started thinking he was bigger than the Beatles. Paul was like a nazi over musical control, it couldn’t go on and it didn’t.
Who's gone? 😏
Actually, yes. It sounds like a hit. Thanks for the recommendation Björn! To think that they finally got together. After 50 years of waiting. Wonderful!
It's good right?
Probably one of the most underrated ABBA songs there is, absolutely loved it then still love it.
love this song and the last song of their repertoir .
And I say a tearful goodbye to the group that saw me through some of the most difficult times of my life. I love you ABBA.
Lovely band spreading love
They are still around!!!❤ they never left us❤❤
One of the most underrated ABBA’s song: a hidden gem.
The ending when they're walking away from the camera is always emotional for me :(
Four Angels who passed through my room. God bless ABBA.
because they pass like an angels.... is'nt it JANE?
So very true... :(
Jane Castandiello same
This song sounds so futuristic and I love it. They look like strangers in the video, you can tell it's not the same anymore and it's a bit awkward...it's sad but also interesting to see. Them walking out like that at the end is kind of fitting since this was the last single they ever released...until this year.
As experimental and different it felt, this still remains a great ABBA song.
Dann sind Abba noch einmal in das "Licht" gegangen.😊
I've loved them for nearly four decades and their music never gets old; all it takes to put a smile on my face is to hear that beautiful sound.
isn't that the truth. You hear the voices of ABBA & you cannot help but smile.
My sentiments exactly - one of my fave songs because of this.
so true, that was the end of them,so sad, this video and single was the last of them, release in 1983....they feel the times were about to change.
MrLeonard750 I think I read somewhere that their last single was actually "The Day Before You Came" but it was some time ago; I could be wrong and at any rate the two songs came out around the same time.
the final scene of this video is such a hard one to watch without not break in tears :'( i'm the only one that feels that way about it?
This song deserves to be a big hit, I have it on repeat!!
Maybe they should feature the song in Stranger Things…it did wonders for Kate Bush.
OMG the chorus on this track is magic, i cannot get it out of my head!!
That's ABBA in a nutshell.
I'm feel sad at the end. The last time of all of them together.miss so much this band :'(
+Sara Rodrigues I feel sad too. It's like they're walking away to never return.
+Sara Rodrigues Brava, e' proprio cosi'!!!!!!!!!......Annalisa
+Sara Rodrigues awwww, yah it kinda does suck if u look at it that way, but we can always still listen to all the brilliant music they created...and cherish it.
me too T.T so sad, but the song is amazing hahaha
Sara Rodrigues Be sad no more.... They're back!
Is it just me or does this song during the chorus sound like its about 3 different awesome songs some how magically melded into one harmonious beautiful song.. It just amazing...
Yeah, the harmonies are amazing. You can really pick them out here: ABBA Under Attack - Rare demo mix (filtered vocals)
*****
this is very good !
The song was actually made up of other Abba songs which were written earlier but never released.
ABBA Forever. Love this song and basically everything they ever did. So glad they are back!
And 40 years later, they have moved past this sad part of their lives. The magic is back.
Everytime I play this on my phone I want to see the video again, especially the ending when they walk out, so sad and symbolic!
Me too.
I was 9 when ABBA split and my (musical fantasy) world fell apart! On the positive side, they walked into the sunshine, which is very symbolic as well. It's all good. (But I must admit I would have loved to know how their sound would have further developed, had they continued to record together.)
Lovejazz01 w

Thomas Farmer, if ABBA Had continue after 1982, I reckon there sound would have been new wave sound as Benny were already using Sythesizers Sounds.
That's where I just came from lol
from ring ring to under attack....the circle goes back around !!!! love abba
You mean People Need Love.
Yes, People Need Love was their very first single.
if they recorded today it would be the BEST new music on markets worldwide. That's a guarantee! They would top charts around the globe.
Tomislav renfrew - your prophecy came true. Who knew? New music and a tour of sorts in 2019!!!
The last music video from ABBA... until today!
Who's watching in 2021?
Alla låtar med Abba. Har jag lyssnat på sen jag var liten flicka. De är ju helt otroligt vad de har åstadkommit. Tack Abba för musiken. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The end looked like the ABBA went to music heaven
+TheAustinmetro
That's cause they did :'(
Seeing as this was their last single, I think that was intentional.
:'(
@@brackenalexander1163
According to Benny it was not intentional. They never really stopped. Abba just peated out.
And this is how ABBA told us GOODBYE..
MarHewBaggins did she die??
thesilverspider my favorite song is Elaine
but
listen to that song at a lower pitch while the song is played at a lower speed
it sounds superior that way
fargeeks no, this was their last single
But wait. They have new singles coming out this 2019 and 2020 and a possible album. After 36 years, ABBA is back.
So sad
They were certainly tired of working at this point. Frida was still that little bit heartbroken over Benny but was recovering. Agnetha was moving on with her own solo career and Bjorn and Benny were writing music for other projects. The writing was on the wall in 1981 when Benny and Frida split up more of less. It's a great shame that such an amazing worldwide band ended this way but some of the songs that were made in the final years are truly fantastic and are certainly unique in a terrific way. This being one of them. :-)
And Benny even cheated on Frida 😤 And Björn also cheated on Agnetha
@@sann1spann1s is that true ? What a mad man can do this to these two angels?I'll kill to have a wife like them! (especially Agnetha)
@@MrRobbyvent Yeah:( but actually idk if Björn actually cheated on Agnetha, but it’s true that Benny cheated on Frida
I think it is broblably the most 80's song from Abba, and it is so interesting!
Their harmonization in the chorus is soothing to hear
ABBA has left the building....
Hasta Manana, ABBA. I absolutely love Agenetha's last album, however.
ABBA's adios.
Deejay...Not that anyone gives a shit, but you mentioned Hasta Manana, one of the greatest love songs ever written and performed by ABBA. Oh, and I love every single song by Agnetha, every recording, every album, and everything else about her. Don't respond, Have a good day. Cheers!!!
The ABBA legacy lives on…
But thier great songs remains...
Abba videos have always been so simple, and yet so fun to watch! This is a guilty pleasure for me. Agnetha's facial expressions, Frida breaking into the 80's looking like a character from Dynasty... 😜
Yes Agnetha's facial expression at 1:33 is like a young child saying a defiant "NO". Brilliant!
G0GLU love this comment made me chuckle lol 😃
I love them. I think they often look like they are explaining something to us as they sing, with engaging facial expression and eye contact. Like when someone talks to a child. I think this appeals to us.
I also like Frida’s 80s look. Some people dis it, but I think is she is marvellous and stylish. Great, weird look and she can pull it off!
I saw some women in Germany in 2000s who still wore this look with leather, teased hair and blush on their cheeks! It’s not a bad look. Different and cool if you can pull it off.
This was Frida's best look for me! Fabulous
This was their very last Single and Video! Brings me close to tears every time! God bless Björn, Frida, Benny and Agnetha!
Their marriages may have ended but their marvelous music survives forever.
This has got to be abbas most underated song ...its great :)
***** its absolutely fluffing incredible, crank it in the car and tell me its not an absolutely brilliant song.. the music and lyrics are just amazing....Just incredible...
Although I do like I Am The City, Under Attack is better. A really great song. But wasn't all of Abba's songs???
It IS! & It's essentially the end of the line for them, right?
Jake Roberts nope I don’t agree I liked it , it’s almost not known and to say it was the end it’s really sad
No dancing queen was lol. Very few people will understand the joke
when they walked away through the gate, so heart crushing. Their music legacy will be enjoyed, loved, and respected for centuries to come. Thanks ABBA!
They walked out,not as ABBA the group but four lonely singers........
Totally underated song ..brilliant

Under Attack would have been the perfect title for ABBA's 9th album, they began recording the album in 1982 shelved it and planned to carry on recording sessions in 1983 but as they took a break it never happened.
Under Attack shows once again they were always in touch with, and ahead of, future sounds.
This always brings tears to my eyes. They're singing together and looking directly into the camera, and then together, they walk past the camera and just...leave. Their images almost vaporize at the end. It's like ABBA has gone to heaven. 👼
Queen: The Game, Dragon Attack
ABBA: The Name Of The Game, Under Attack
Yess i love abba and queen 🥰
Under Pressure + Dragon Attack = Under Attack
I love how simple ABBA videos were. Their voices, facial expressions and body language were enough to convey their emotions and tell the story.
Here after Bjorn said he was angry this wasnt a hit!!! NEW MUSIC YASSSSS
Fleetwood Mac and the Rolling Stones seems to go on forever. But they just sing old hits, not new music.
Released on the day of my birth, December 3, 1982! 🙂
It was never a permanent break they reformed in 2017 and recorded two new songs and have since recorded 3 more.
@andy morris The songs are being released in 2021
It was temporary
@andy morris guess what
Imagine how much they'd have made if they had lasted a few more years. They were just catching on in the states. They musically really hit their stride on the last two albums especially. Their music was so far ahead of their time. Best group ever!.
+Chris Harper Yeah :( They would've easily made 80s and 90s hits if they continued!
+Sebizzar but they couldn't because they're all divorced and it will be kinda awkward to work with your ex wife / husband , in a band that you created out of the fact that they are lovers...
a minecraft channel I know, I know their story :( I was just saying they could've had more hits with all their talent.
The song is so catchy!!! I listen to it more than 10 times every day! ABBA, I love you❤❤❤
In the chorus the transition to this minor chord creates such a mysterious sadness.
I wish they'd stayed together to make more music further into the eighties because I love the synth on this.
A really significant video in ABBA's final chapter in the pop music scene with the end of one era as a group and their new era with Agnetha and Frida as solo artistes and with Benny & Bjorn going into musical theatre. Great video for a great final hit for ABBA as a group back in 1982.
Here before the 2winz^2 stans flood in.

The last shot of them walking away always makes me feel sad. Goodbye, ABBA. Thank you for the wonderful music you gave us.
Why goodbye? Were you not aware they would be releasing new songs this year??
@@gyobfan22 well of course I I meant before the news of the new album was out. Still a said sight though.
And now ABBA is back 40 years later! Yes 😉
There's a great blend of upbeat melody and subtle melancholy in this song. As ever, Agnetha is the confident style queen with her great operatic voice.
The only marriage that lasted was Benny and Bjorn!
Bromance...BB-romance...
Yes, best buds, best friends, good pals, idek anymore, THEY SHOULD GET MARRIED
No way
They r friends
GXhchhf Chhchcch it would be too cute though
So many words to describe ABBA, but the best I think would be SOPHISTICATED. Their sound, songs, harmonies, style, class, and looks were, and continue to be untouchable.
Agnetha never looked more cool or sophisticated than here, her 1980's look. She is so beautiful, no woman can approach her. Perfection indeed.
A true ANGEL IN LOOKS ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh, yes. Frida. And many think so.
