Using a lightweight, handheld trencher to make wide trenches with a 1.5" chain. It's all about the motion...wait, what!?!
Awesome tips for that french drain application. One method is the side to side and the other is a two-pass method.

i wouldn’t.As an irrigation service technician this fits the bill.can throw it in my work truck.Ideal for when i need a quick 10’ or more trench.Not much of a footprint left when backfilled.
Buy a ditchwitch if full time installation.Then buy/insure trailer to lug it around.
The georipper gets me into spots ditchwitch can’t.
