You don't want to be the last one in the queue for FCSC Money.....there will only be an IOU waiting for you! As stackers always say, if you don't hold it you don't own it. As a fully signed up Tin Foil Hat Wearing Conspiracy Theorists, it was always interesting to have people laugh at me and always took it in good jest. Strangely, they don't laugh anymore, they just get very angry....Why is that???

The issue with fscs is they dont have enough money if multiple banks started collapsing. Nobody should ever do nothing and rely on it. Also they are a private independent company who makes it known they are seperate from government and the financial service industry, red flag.

I remember when I first learned about Banks only allowing a certain amount of withdrawal per day and if you need a specific heavy amount as soon as possible, you have to go through some application process. That is what I call bologna to be gentle in this comment section. This is why I have multiple Banks and when I get my paychecks and my bills are paid I can just transfer cash to multiple Banks and then go out and get my earned property haha and some of it does get turned into silver and gold, just don't tell my Banks

Here in the U.S., most people are completely unaware of Executive Orders, which basically give the government total power to bypass the U.S. Congress during a so called, 'state of emergency'. One such executive order is that the government can legally confictate all contents of safety deposit boxes whenever they deem necessary and without a court order or warrant. Unfortunately I was unable to locate this particular executive order because the internet is completely controlled and any searches are heavily censored.

So no, you can still find it on the internet. But also yes the government is scary.
For example today HMRC are now trying to redefine the rules on stocks and shares ISAs.

@@BackyardBullion British gas were breaking into homes and vandalising properties, legally, using mercenaries (debt collectors)
The money you have in the bank is not yours, a deposit is a loan to the bank - you are THEIR creditor. The bank in return promises to pay you back on demand. They won't pay you back in cash or pay you respectable interest on your loan to them, but they will charge you base rate + 3% on a mortgage and base rate + 35% on a credit card. They'll also lend every penny you give them to 11 other people, charging them for the privilege
You give the bank one pound. The bank turns that into £12 + 5.5-40% compound. In return the bank gives you < 1/15th of the value you generated for them under what is essentially the same agreement - terms of credit
The law is very much not in our favour. The banks get away with this because we need them. Being very rich they have a lot of political and social power. They hate it when people like us take 'their' money and spend it on things they can't electronically or physically monitor, like an ounce of gold in your bedside drawer
No tinfoil hat or conspiracy theory needed. They are so greedy they will not tolerate 'their' money being taken out of the system. Every pound you keep in the bank magnifies their power and influence by an order of magnitude. The bogey men are greed and power, they are the ones who have infiltrated every aspect of corporation and government. There doesn't have to be a coherent central boss calling the shots when the shared value of killer capitalism leads us all to the same goal

I think you store £10K physical at home and then either you buy a vault and pay for specialist insurance at home or use an outside vault/box as a last resort. Not in your hands, not your gold. It's super important what you said about having to get insurance on safety deposit boxes. That makes no sense to the layman but if someone steals your deposit box you get NOTHING
