Dreamcatcher is a piece of music history in South Korea. The group opened a new and different path (alternative music) from the big and mainstream in the South Korean music industry while still maintaining rock/metal elements as an attribute. Their b-sides from a business perspective are aimed at the mainstream K-pop music industry. Music production divides it by category or market segmentation, without having to remove the group's attributes/characteristics. My assumption is that the flexibility of bands is needed to extend the life of bands, the limitations of choice, creativity and boredom. A classic problem of a certain genre of music group. Ps : - Forget about the definition of K-pop as it is an eternal debate among music professionals, music educators, musicians and those working in the music industry. Some say that K-pop (Korean Pop) is based on the origins of Korean, some are based on a short path, some think that music is music. - Dreamcatcher comes from a small company that had previously failed to break into mainstream K-pop music. - international fans more bigger than local fans. - The issue of 'award stealing' should have been theirs and 5 years of Dreamcatcher not getting any awards or appreciation. - Sorry, my english so bad and not my native language.

"Maison" is part 1 of the Apocalypse trilogy. Dreamcatcher are touching on a very important subject here. Maison is French for "house" or rather "home", and they are singing about everyone's home, which is our planet. Previously they talked about online hate, now they are tackling an issue that impacts the whole planet and therefore everyone. Climate change is going to affect all of us, and it is already affecting many people. Island Nations will disappear under the ocean ("Save my home in the ocean"). Ice melts in the arctic and displaces people ("Save my home in the polar"). Forests get decimated by corporate greed and habitats get destroyed ("Save my home in the jungle") and disappearing glaciers and snow packs result in even less water for deserts ("Save my home in the desert"). People have a natural tendency to ignore issues that seem to be in the future - but climate change is here, right now. We can't wait anymore, and it is good that Dreamcatcher use their platform to promote change: "Break your habit now!" Musically I really enjoy the song. Like in BEcause, the rock/metal vibe is dialed back a bit, but it is still there and highly distorted. Although the more I listen to it, the more Rock I hear. I especially like how the pre-chorus and chorus seems to appear out of nowhere, the chord progression in the bridge, and the epic end part. The bass line is crazy as well. LEEZ and Ollounder (their producers) have done it again, and the members are just brilliant. Respect!

Dreamcatcher songs and music style are unique, ranging from NuMetal, EDM and Pop-Rock, to Jazz (Jazz Bar), soft Pop-Rock (Fairytale), Dark Techno Rock (Vision) and even Mumbathon Rock (Boca). They have very good B-sides worth listening to. In fact, they have a nearly flawless discography, all 6+ music hours of it. Their songs are made by a very talented and productive group of music producers called Leez and Ollounder. Also, by other producers from the same company called Edenary. A Seoul, SK based production company. They collaborate closely with all the 7 Dreamcatcher members, they co-write songs, and they know their vocal strengths well. Dreamcatcher owe their unique music style to these two. Dreamcatcher are also very talented dancers and their stage presence is top notch. Plus they're very interesting people, full of love for what they do and each other. So they have made die hard fans all over the world and their World Tour concerts are always full. People who love good K-Pop style music, end up liking Dreamcatcher.

They truly are one of the most unique (and one of the most vocally talented, IMO) Kpop groups. Their title tracks all have an element of rock, so they stand apart from most Kpop groups. However their B sides cover so many different genres beautifully, they really can do it all.

Great breakdown you hit every nail on the head except...people that like kpop, or related genres, connect to the performers more so that than most genres and it may not matter from the perspective of a producer just reacting but relevant in the grand scheme of this specific genre. Biases of each member (I suppose boybands would be a good example) for whichever group they're watching is relevant so all those ad libs and extra parts mean more to fans that follow the groups. Dreamcatcher in this case and Dami is my bias as an example. So, depending on the group and each persons personal bias, and trust me this matters to listeners, it elevates the song. Appreciation of the performers, bias or not, adds a lot to the overall experience.
