    Waterskied there for decades down that slough. It's always has been popular with skiers since as far back as I can remember (80s). Plus, you get all the larger pleasure boats transitioning through it from disco bay.

      exactly why I chose to fish it for a day and show people that if you stay in one slough all day you can learn things about it and learn what areas of that slough are highlighted areas.

    That area always filled with those boats bc it's a straight long area. Great spot for them to tow their buddies or kids. I fished there once and not once i went back since. lol good video!

    I wish I had that boat so cool I just got a little 16 foot Jon boat but it gets me around the Delta thanks for the knowledge. .I’m out there 3 to 4 days a week are Orchard backs right up to the river can launch right from my backyard if you ever want to come down I’ll show you some new spots that are great for producing quality fish. I generally don’t tell people exactly where I fish it’s taken me yrs/months countless hrs to find them. But since you share your knowledge I’ll share my honey holes with you.

    Ive been punching alot in the delta but I havent been able to land one. Are there any good spot out of tracy O. I can go to punch fish this time of year?

    • @livefastmovementoutdoors8310
      @livefastmovementoutdoors8310  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly grant line holds really good fish. I would just make sure you fish it when there is some water in the system and with the tide moving. Also slow down in the Mat to make sure that when you get bit you feel it

    • @livefastmovementoutdoors8310

      I actually don't generally go lighter on my punch setup. I use my thumb to slow the speed of a 1½ weight I'll go up to a 2oz in the fall but that's a whole other video I need to make

      I recommend starting at a launch nearest to you. I feel that would be the south delta for you. Around Discovery Bay, Victoria slough, grant Line area. 👍

    I see you're back to the lowrance/ghost combo. What did you think of the humminbirds/ultrex when you were using them?

    • @livefastmovementoutdoors8310

      Still have them. I'm using the lowarance equipment for the delta. It works better in grass and for delta fishing 👍 using my sweeter and hummingbird for the lakes 👍

    Now a days it called using a fish finder to hunt down the bass. They won't have fighting chance to hide. Bass fishing is becoming a video game

    • @livefastmovementoutdoors8310
      @livefastmovementoutdoors8310  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep especially the deep water fisheries but the delta is tough to use your fish finder on due to all of the grass and floating debris 👍

      Fry is a growth stage. In which fish grow to a few centimeters. They will consume zooplankton until they grow large enough to eat other fish/larger prey. Big bass after the spawn are very cannibalistic and will eat there own young. Especially male bass. A frog is a great bait that imitates a variety of different fish species on the surface. Which happens to be where the fry will hang out in order to grow faster. I Hope that helps.
