Had to watch on mute because the commentating got annoying. Its cool to make remarks and react to especially cool plays but it's so pointless and repetitive to explain every single point. Even in professional volleyball the commentators have to add lots of statistics and background of the players to make it more interesting/less repetitive.
Penetrating, full arm contacts, and doubles on blocks were all calls that take points away in already short games to 21… if we want to really showcase Asian talent we have to allow them to fully play while having awesome street ball rules that 9man has.
After watching this match there needs to be less intervention by referees especially since they are not officially sanctioned in anyway. As volleyball has moved into modern times to allow less whistles made and letting players dictate wins through gameplay 9man needs to also grow while respecting the heritage. Too many whistles and opinion based calls from referees.
