Review and Walkthrough of the 1 bedroom bungalows at the Sol Palmeras resort in Varadero Cuba 🇨🇺

Because there's been many questions about the rooms, I did a tour of the one bedroom bungalow. 8.5/10 if travelling without kids (a bit of a walk to the resort, great for space, not great for walking back after a few rum drinks :) ).
10/10 if you're traveling with kids (it really is worth it for the space and separation, but try to get zone one or two, there will be a fair amount of wondering back and forth).
Also to note, no wifi access in the bungalows beyond zone 1 (not sure about the wifi in the rooms in the main building, but wifi access at the pool, lobby, and the beach!).
Something that we should have taken advantage of more was the snack bar by the Chinese restaurant. It was great and in close proximity to the bungalows for a morning coffee or mid day snack.
Oh also, the pathway I'm referring to in this video is the one closest to the beach.

Thank you so much for your post. We have a 12 Year old so your review was perfect for us. I appreciate you not being critical about the quirks of the room. Im not even going to bother looking for other reviews because you covered every question on my mind. Out of curiosity, did you ever lounge on the front porch like for coffee or drinks? Was wondering if its a high traffic walk way of just a couple people every minute or so.

Because the bungalows are in sections, it is only the people within that section that walk by, and after many, many return trips to the bungalows (and sitting on the patio a lot), I would say that we rarely had people walking by. A few per day! Far busier in the hotel... the bungalow area is super quiet.
