The full coverage over the trigger and mag release is one of the reasons I bought a C&G holster. Thanks for the quick review.

The fact that c&g pushes it back to the mag release is amazing... I've seen people's magazine release get hit and mag falls out of the magwell and onto the floor... Thanks for the video man, this info is exactly what I was looking for

Btw they do sell a concealment wing upgrade for your holster. There are two types of wing upgrades, there is the usual J type wing for non-light holsters (their Covert models), and there is a straight I type wing for their light-bearing holsters (their Tactical models). So if you want to you can grab yourself the I-style wing, which also comes with the necessary hardware, I believe, to put on your Tactical holster. If I were you I'd also pick up a set of either their dual DCC Mod.4 Shorty 1.5" metal clips, or the dual C&G branded DCC Metal clips in 1.5" or 1.75". The difference between the Mod.4 and the C&G metal clips is that the Mod.4 are much stiffer and harder to remove from your belt/pants, while the C&G are slightly thinner and have less spring tension, so they're more comfortable to put on/take off. You can also try the Ulti-Tuck clip (fits on their holsters and mag carrier), which is a metal clip that you can wear with or without a belt, as it uses a cam type lever to get it on and off. The ulti-tuck should also allow you to tuck your shirt in to your pants with the holster/carrier on. I grabbed the ulti-tuck so I can switch it out in the summer to be worn with shorts with drawstrings, and no belt. I'd just give them a call maybe and confirm that the wing fits your holster (they're very helpful over the phone). Good luck!

Just ordered one today for my Colt 1911. I like the way they have so many 1911 options. This time I actually ordered the holster in a color. Also opted for the taller full back. I am going to like this company 👍

C&G Alpha is the best holster on the market for my needs. I adapted it to a Blackhawk Nacho belly band, then zip tied the clips, because if you've ever been in combat, we know things go wrong.

On the Vedder I feel like all IWB holsters need to cover the mag release as well. I have had mags pop out when I was using a holster that doesn’t

Curious why you went with a mid sweatguard vs a full. I feel like it's easier to holster with a full sweatguard, as you can sort of backboard the muzzle off the higher sweatguard, as you're holstering. You can also always cut it down if you want to...
C&G also does offer a concealment wing, as part of their Alpha upgrade, not sure if it's applicable for every type of holster they offer though. I would also recommend you maybe try their other clip types, as I believe you can get a tighter body fit with the dual metal clip setup on that holster vs the single plastic clip.

I don't know about "feel like" but I've always believed a full sweatguard is the best choice, for those same reasons.

I use Werkz IWB holster for my 43x MOS. Comfortable to wear, retention is great with a nice design.

I have this holster(IWB version) for my Canik TP9 SC. I like it, but it is really wide. Not a slim fit in any manner. Easier for me to conceal my 92fs compact(way bigger gun)with Alien Gear holster.

The blocking for the ligjt looks like it negates any beneift from the wedge. I like C&G a lot and think that they make some of the best mid priced holsters but they really need to out a little more thought into that wedge. Tenicor does the builtnin concealment wedge better than any other holster manufcturer.

Does the concealment wing create a hotspot while carrying?
