Would not recommend these belts as they fray and fray (as you can see in video) until you can no longer wear them any more and by that time warranty is up. Happened to both of my Nexbelts sorry to say.

1911’s used to jam all the time till Bill Wilson fine tuned it. They always had some play in them. Tight tolerances are prone to jams too. There’s a fine line to good functional weapon. Fine tune it yourself and you will learn a lot!

I have 5 1911s Springfield ronin Ruger SR 1911 Tisas duty and an auto ordnance and Kimber stainless LW . The Kimber 2 FTF completely took it apart lubed The rails made through a full magazine. Of all 5 the Ruger is the best

C&G Alpha is the best holster on the market for my needs. I adapted it to a Blackhawk Nacho belly band, then zip tied the clips, because if you've ever been in combat, we know things go wrong.

It’s definitely not a gun issue. I watched your snippet at the range it ran fine for 5 shots till you adjusted your grip. When you did your left thumb was imparting enough upward pressure on the slide stop that on the 6 round it locked back. It shows that with the 1911 that you may need a bit more range time with it as your not completely used to the grip angle yet and if your coming from a 9mm the recoil is also screwing you up

That specific malfunction is probably a user induced problem not a gun problem. You’re riding the slide release your problem used to a Glock or Glock type weapon. That’s a common problem with novices with 1911

It's the SLIDE LOCK not the gun. Wilson Combat makes one that's designed just for that problem. That's all Kimber would do. Something happend to that one during the MIM process. $50 fix it urself. Also the Wilson one is designed so u dnt leave an idiot scratch during reassemblely.

The fact that the trigger is accessible while holstered is the reason why I would never carry with a weapon-mounted light.

Polish the slide lock

If at this point, after using different magazines and ammo and it still does it, you need to take a hard look at your slide lock. Lock the slide back and insert a loaded magazine and see if the bullet is touching the slide lock anywhere. I’ve found a few over the years and with a bit of file work you can take off the offending protrusion. If not, a new slide lock might be in order.

Bullet profile, even hardball can touch the slide lock on the way from magazine to chamber causing the slide to lock open. Try several different brands of ammo and see if that’s the problem.

Buy a Tisas or a Springfield, brother.

I wonder if the Gearlight S2000 is similar. I already have the Rechoo on order thinking it would at least be 1000 lumens based on the fact i got 2 Nitecores (EA41 and EA42) which the EA42 is supposedly an 1800 lumen light for 4 AA batteries. It was considerably more expensive and now discontinued. The EA81 is 2150 lumens but uses 8 AA batteries which all of the Nitecore lights work nicely with rechargable Eneloop Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries. I have a Coast Polysteel 650, its a 4AA which has 1000 lumens, i also got an older version that only does 760 lumens so ill be comparing them to the Rechoo when i get it. If its not as great, no big deal as ill have plenty of 4 AA lights and i jusr boxed my Nitecores to save for a rainy day as they're a lot nicer and they also have a battery monitoring system.

The flush fitting smaller magazine is 13 round capacity, not 12 round as you stated.

I just got my xd9 subcompact with 6 mags and a pistol pouch for 400$

It is similar to my Springfield armory Loaded Target . Same SS and wood grips. I second getting some Wilson Combat mags... This is a target shooter more than tactical with the site. Thus, I would go with some 10 rnd mags.
