Boils down to just following the famous -and classical Onion or Clean architecture principles to make loose coupling and interoperability more realizable. Still a long way to go in the health industry. My doubt lies with the main players or policy makers in the health industry who will or won't like to go forward with this and to share in these ideas and benefits for the foreseable future, because it will impact the ROI's of their existing EHR systems.
