Only pro players can put such micro up. I was especially amazed by how Grubby kept expending, creeping and rebuilding a base all along while defending against constant assault on his first base.. Multitask at its best! I wished Grubby find a way to come back from this which sadly didn't happen.

no, you are right, it seems a bit random. Most likely just luck though as it is the most likely position to expand.
actually I think he was going there to creep since its a pretty nice camp
@@MrBlueSleeves Idk, that would not be a wise creep and a weird move imo. Also he kinda has to expect this to be crept if he is a decent player (Beastmaster away for three minutes, shops already gone, turtle on the right not crept plus item if he saw it)
I'm guessing this guy was a pro, he was beastly. If you ever play him again with NE, and with the same heroes, I wonder if things could go differently. Maybe an orb and more wisp detonates in fights to deny his hero abilities. Maybe huntress and glaive instead of archer. Glaive would have countered tower rush a little?

💜PotM💜 Appreciate the game. What if you used the invul potion before starfall and used the army to focus on Archmage instead? 🤔 Hope Blizz finds a way to bring PotM back to Meta. 😄
@@Kakerate2 Agree, there are rather many ways to make a big difference by doing small tweaks to PotM. In the damage department, PotM can use some increment in base dmg or attack speed. However, a better chance can be given to boost her abilities by having either Trueshot Aura or Searing Arrow to increase attack speed (perhaps 10%/15%/20%) in addition to attack damage, which could be surprisingly more effective. On the other hand, Owl Scout has been more of a serious concern in 1v1 where wisps or sentinels can easily replace it, and three levels of owl scouts with no other difference apart from duration makes it quite useless. However, removing the ability shouldn't be where we're heading towards. Imo, perhaps owl scout can be made more viable and versatile by giving it a healing aura that boosts health regen to nearby allies. (Ik it doesn't sound quite feasible) My argument is that NE lack of AoE healing in early game which can be made up easily with a few boosts, and meanwhile, owl scouts plays a more versatile role. I'd like to hear what interesting suggestions others have.
Great game, but Grub, why not transitioning into mass Dryads? Wouldn't they be better than Archers?
I think probably because he spent on upgrades for archers both in Ancient of War and Huntress Hall, so he didn't wanna waste that investment. In actual fact, archers have greater damage than dryads, but with lower health, longer range, no poison and no anti-magic

OK try 2vs2 with a undead ally, use Night Elf then using beatsmaster with the eagle later use the priestess of the moon buy her a sphere of corruption to use the owl skill in early game to scout and harrass the enemy to the maximum don't let him creep and finaly use the druids of the talon in crow mode with faeri fire to reduce the enemy armor to the max, can you win that game??

Yes it's all showing a different way to play, which - while I know that it is worse - is fun.
Sticking with the same units all game is more fun in a 3v3 or 4v4

I massed that game back in the day, never hit your limit but manage about 1000 games ladder with 86% winrate on my best acc, was good times. I really wish to come back to this lovely game. Relying only on my perception, I'd make a guess that he's simply aware of the fact that there is no scientific basis for race.
@u wot m8 no, I am referring to modern genetics. After the first full human genome was sequenced, the ground on which the concept of race lie started to crumble. We are all related much more than we ever thought.

No point players leave the game when their army is destroyed in high-rank games so better off focusing on units.

You are blind he plays against the best players when not in his prime anymore so he has around a 50% win rate with his videos.

first beast master what i play in 2v2 is that
1st wis to wood, 4 to gold then first wis from town go BM, then BA, 2nd wis from town go BR,
wood to 40, u get 2nd BM (moon well)
so after BR is ready , u go archer then when beast master come out , u have 2 archer,
now 7 wis for wood,
if first hero coming to harass u , first beast master skill choose eagle ,
and that eagle jus follow him,
if its human u go pig and creep , but very important 2nd hero u must go KOG
so u can ent, that AM for blizzard for your archer
archer talon dryad is good against anything
jus like rifle + caster + motor
u dont even need mountain giant :)
That unit composition will get eaten by just a few morts with priests and rifles
