This is amazing! In our County we use to block off our main throughfare like this for 4th of July and Christmas Parades. Blocking off the road became harder and harder as commercial traffic increases. So now we go East to west on a road that crosses over the main throughfare. The road is still blocked off but for not as long.
@01:43 you need to weld 1 more metal tie plate directly underneath the rail joints for added support. Otherwise, I gotta say not only was this so cool, I believe you are first person ever to have a live steam locomotive in any parade any where in the World. You need to contact the Genius Book of Records and get "Titled"
The bolts holding the rails together are not correctly inserted on one side. The head of the bolt is supposed to go into the egg shaped hole. If you put 4 true track bolts on each joint there would be no need for any extra plate underneath. The bolts require two heads to the inside staggered with two heads to the outside. Track bolts are different than normal structural bolts.
Nothing beats celebrating America like live steam pulled by a largecar! Got that memo since I both love trains AND trucks, and headin' to town in your W900L with a legacy sleeper is the smell of freedom to me! âĪâĪðĪðĪðð
No coffee because there's no power?? You've got a hot loci right next to you! Just throw some grounds and water in a kettle and set it on the backhead for a bit, you'll have your coffee! ð
Dude what is that trail accuracy at 5:30 skill* haha. the only suggestion i will keep making is to put a 10-20sec highlight/teaser real at the start before the into/logo. this gets viewers exited off the bat,' lets them know what's coming, and what they are watching for, and gives reason to commit to watch time. so many cool shots in this one! what a great video and so many people at the parade!
@@susanlua4792 ok, explain to me how a train with no way of internal steering (like a car and a steering wheel) other then the tracks that it will not be on since the idea is to put it in the streets as a floatâĶ steer in the streets unless itâs towed along
Wow your husband owns a train or a Miniature Railroad or whatever .must be the coolest husband ever for you the coolest dad ever for me if I had one like that and that boy must be excited and happy to have the coolest dad ever I would be the same if I had a dad like this

Marquette Michigan is a beautiful city anyway sitting next to Lake Superior. This certainly added to that beauty. Great video

Could you just imagine if you set the locomotive on a set of roller bearings , and actualy have the pistons move while the wheels turn.
@@fanatichighdesertrailroader we might have to try it!!!
