The dc McFarlane line right now is on fire, especially from the value perspective. You can get collector grade stuff that's available everywhere and notably cheaper than smaller Hasbro and wrestling figures. I actually like the larger scale because there's a bit more potential for detail, as well as how comparable they are with Marvel Select characters. You're totally right about how Todd McFarlane revolutionized the game, and I've slept on these for way too long too. I wanted to get my friend a movie Black Adam figure around Christmas, and in seeing these at comic shops and Toys R Us, I started looking at em myself. The bike itself caught my eye, and just the other day picked up a Catwoman and classic Batman. This death metal batman really makes me think back to the Spawn figures in my display, and it's pretty mindblowing to know how old they are yet visually still hold up 100%.
This Death Metal Bat line is not about music..this started with "Dark Knights Metal" which we got in 2017..a story about how the Earths Metals can bring changes to Batman..it also brought us " the Batman who Laughs"..Death Metal is version 2 of the story..nothing to do with music..enjoyed the unboxing.
I recently picked up my first DC Multiverse figures I saw the Last Knight on Earth Bane BAF wave at Target and I really dig the look of these figures I also love Bane and Scarcrow, I’m still on the hunt for the Wonder Woman, I also like that you only need 4 figures to complete the BAF.
I'm a metal head too, and death metal ain't my bag but my buddy turned me on to Opeth!!! Check em out bro, you won't be disappointed. Theyre one of those bands that progresses with time and they're pretty sick... lol, back to toys!!!

Like you l might pick up the odd one, although if they were in scale with Legends would get more. I might get this one. The Devestator is fantastic and at a regular price, same size as Venompool.
There is a lot of kick back on the FB groups for mcfarlane on always making Batman figs, not really sure why the company continues to pump out different incarnations of Batman
I like the Batman figure, but I'm not really digging the Batcycle....it's just a little too American Chopper (The custom bikes reality TV show). Obviously not McFarlane's fault....but it just looks a bit silly/forced to me.

I picked it up after seeing it a few times but never paid attention to it. Today I thought it would go good with Zartan. The Bike is nice 🔥🔥🔥

These are nice figures. I'm surprised that they aren't going up in value. The Flash figure is probably the best out there for the price.
