Honestly this arc I feel like is really where Gojo started to feel like a REAL character, and not just a plot device. I really wish we got to see more of the real Gojo, because it really is tragic how even in universe that's all that others see him as: A plot device or a threat. Not as a person. It also makes you wonder if one of the reasons Gojo cared so much about Yuji is because he sympathized with him. Especially in the first season there are a lot of people who simply see Yuji as Sukuna's vessel and not someone to be valued or someone who is an individual person.
