I really enjoy caucasian mountain countries, recently moved to batumi as my main base, Baku seems like a good add to anyone who want to escape the G7 grip
I agree with you! Georgia and Azerbaijan have a lot in common: our countries have interesting cultures, a lot of different landscapes to everyone’s taste, as well as delicious and versatile cuisines. If you decide to visit Azerbaijan, spring is the best time to explore our country:)
Hello Nana ! I will be visiting Baku next week ( 24th Sept 2024 ) and found your video interesting and informative. I hope I have the opportunity to see your video about suggestions for restaurants before I arrive.... I am very interested to see what the food is like. Thank you!
Hi!! Thank you so much for your kind words😇 I am currently working on this video, but I don't think I will have published it by the 24th:( But I highly recommend visiting "Laquzu" for breakfast and dinner, all their dishes are incredibly delicious! Plus, it is located in the Old City. You can see this restaurant in my last video: there, I have shown some food and its cozy inner yard. And the price-quality ratio is very reasonable for such a location. Have a great time in Baku💫
@@angelemmanuelaguilardelacr6070 Aa, I understand:( Baku is small, that's why people from the villages can visit the center of the city and bring us their products. I guess, small cities have advantages after all🥺
today I had "business lunch" at an eatery in Fexraddin Musayev , one spaghetti dish topped with some meat , another dish of meat mixed with vegetables , one glass of rose drink , no salad , no bread , the bill was 17 manat ! it was 5 manat when I first came here in 2017 ! Cheap my ass...will have to downsize my meals to buy bread and cheese in supermarket
@@gaudente1900 inflation sucks:( that's why it's always the best to cook at home, prices for fruits and veggies in Baku are very low. I will have a separate video about our best restaurants where I will show prices too, quality and price ratio is very reasonable in the places that I will share in that video🙏
@@gaudente1900 the prices for bus and metro rose after I had published this video. I noted in the title of the video that the prices I mentioned were in April of 2024:)

Can't wait for this😮
🥰🥰
I hope you have a second part, very good video Nana ☺
Thank you soo much, Angel🤗✨
Nice
Thanks!
Wow I didn't think that being a consumer of lactose-free milk in baku would be a bit more expensive 😅😅
Oh, yeah, it’s more expensive, because it’s mostly imported from the West:(
But there are several points that are quite good to know, such as the prices of some foods such as eggs and the two ways to acquire it, etc 😗😯
Aa, don’t you have products coming from the village?
@@ExplorewithNana No, I mean they do sell them but you have to go very far to buy them 🫡

bus/metro fare now is 50 qupik , that is 0.29 USD , not 0.25
