I had straights on my old 379 with a 425B model even with good cab insulation I couldn’t handle it...Lol it’s just one of those things but I love the look, and that’s a pretty truck lots of quality effort.
Soy de colombia y amo a los camiones peterblit 379, está hermosa esa peterblit su color, sus cromados ojalá algún día pueda ver alguna de cerca por lo menos, que gran camión.
I’m pretty sure I seen you on Monday around the Knoxville area... I remember this truck mostly because the interior was painted to match the truck...... I appreciate all cars and trucks especially when done right like this truck 👍🏼👌🏻... I could be wrong if this wasn’t the truck but I’m 99.999 percent it was anyways it was a good looking truck driving down the highway
I was at home on Monday but there is guy in that area that copied my paint scheme almost exactly. I get pics of him from Instagram followers all the time. Lol. He has roof lights and horns though.
Ever thought about doing something different with the wheels. Get them powder coated the same colour as the truck white with a green stripe with peterbilt 379 on the inside. Have a look at how the Dutch do their scanias I think you’ll be impressed you will stand out for sure 👌🏽
@@Truckinlife thanks for the reply 👍🏽don’t see why not I see you all have polished alloys over there good to be different though. Stay safe buddy oh and Bella is a nice looking truck
You mentioned powder coating the frame? Why don't more people do this, right from the factory even? Love the white frame rails and paint scheme. Bravo!!!
Just found your channel, love that truck! you’ve done an awesome job! I hope to have one of my own one day. Just wondering what kind of fuel mileage do you get with it?
That's a sweet Pete! Do you actually make any money with it though.....leased on? Asking because I'm considering buying a truck, but don't want an emissions truck. I used to run western PA. in an aero KW with a CAT delivering to all of the shopping malls between 2000 and 2008....sucked as a driver,( the malls) but I still loved it....miss it actually.
Why don’t you powder coat the wheels? 2 tone green/white with the lip a different colour. Then paint or coat the caps to further accent/enhance things.
@@Truckinlife, first off, it’s YOUR iron. You invest your money in it however you choose. Second, white wheels with the holes (the inner parts of them, anyway) and the caps/lug nut covers done in that sea foam green would be a good accent. Much cheaper than a full set of Alcoas, and a definitely unique combo. Of course, if you want that chrome/polished look to match the pipes/boxes...it’s either powder coat in a chrome (Eastwood has some) or pony up the dough for the good stuff.
i wanted to do the same but the guy who installed it said it wouldn't work as well down there in southern heat.... wish i would have down what i wanted to do...

Beautiful Truck Smooth Hi from DALLAS TEXAS
Nice looking truck!
Love that rear light set up. Been thinking about doing something similar.
Those glow lights have been the most reliable, trouble free light I've had to date! The wiring gives me issues but not the lights!
A working man's ongoing project...very nice!
