Well, as a Bengali, some of these are myths I must say... cause not all Bengalis are attached closely to their culture, it might sound harsh, but the present scenario of Bengal is quite like that. Particularly in metro cities like Kolkata, a lot of young people can't read and write Bengali, and they're hardly aware of their traditions. The political and socio - economic situation of our state is internally ruining the culture we have. People are not aware, neither the government is...if this continues, Bengalis of WB would be left with only a hollow sphere of ' Bengali culture '.
