I love this movie iv seen it over a hundred times and will continue to do so for the next 100 Times. The art the culture I love it all I'm a proud Australian black man I can relate with these people I wish I was Mexican for real.☝️💯🙏
Bro your a real one. Was watching this on some other channel. Frozen at the fence in prison scene. Took me a few minutes to find a way to finish this movie.
I love this movie. I remember watching it at my dad's friends house in 1993. It was like a cook out and a movie night. Till this year October 2023 I still watch it. 🙂
Sorry but I ain't a bro, I'm a lady. And what do you mean it ain't good? It was a family cookout and movie with some friends over. I know probably the wrong choice of movie but that is what they picked out😂
he probably means the cook out. its unheard of down south you must be a northener. im 52. A londoner and ive never heard the expression cook out in my life.@@lisagarcia2602
I watched this movie for the first time in my teen years, i am 39 now and the older i get the more i appreciate it. to think that this kind of movie was even made and then three hours long, i mean there have been much bigger movies done by top directors and even they have to suffer through studio demanding cuts etc. ! blood in blood out is a monument to passion of movie making and seeing a story through so even a cast as big as here gets incredible character archs.
The fact that this hasn’t superseded other movies still is difficult for me. I too, watched this as a young teen, and typically rewatch it every couple years. I believe this will fall under one of the most under-appreciated films, unfortunately. I’m just glad to know you, I, and other will forever appreciate it
@@lilmikekills well, not money wise but it as become an absolute legend at least for my/our generation. i try to introduce it to co workers ever so often and they are always surprised that they never heard about it before. there are a few other movies just like this one, for example menace II society or the french banger from 1995 ,hate...man that one is so good !! i believe it even here on yt !
Love this movie… definitely loved Billy Bob Thornton in this movie. Delory Lindo did his thing too. This is one of the greats!! 👏🏾👏🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🫡😎… I give my life to you… Jefe
This movie had a budget of $35 million and only grossed $4 million even though it's a true classic. This movie was not received by non Hispanic audiences. They should make a new version because the Hispanic population has grown tremendously in the states.
They never need to remake this. Would you ask Michaelangelo to repaint the sistine chapel? This movie is a masterpiece and any remake would taint the whole thing. Now if they remastered it in 4k and re-released it in theaters i would definitely pay $20 to see that amd ive seen this movie more times than i even know
Best movie of all time, reminds me when I used to watch this movie as a kid while my jefe was in prison. I never got to meet my jefito till I was older but when I was a kid I always pictured him like this when I saw this movie. Puro raza
@matthewhoribe6585 I grew up by Palmer Way elementary. By Plaza Blvd. I also grew up a block away from the Mile of Cars behind Stanley Dodge or whatever the Chrysler place is now. I miss all the taco shops, the BBQ Pit, Lumpia, the beach. My memories are all from the 70s and 80s. Different time and place in those days. None of my family is in NC anymore. They're all over San Diego, PH, Chula Vista. My grandparents have passed on and they were the glue that kept us close. Now everyone went their own way. Great memories

@@dirty_money5439 I'm black. I'm just telling you verbatim what Wikipedia said about this movie 🍿.
a new version would just be on some latinx and lgbt bullshit. no one needs this movie butchered by that crap.
I'm not Hispanic and it's one of my favorite movies. Classic movie
