I would like for the pickup button for the trap be different from venting the pack its frustrating to pick it up by mistake in the heat of the battle

"Fixed" yeah sure. They've been so incredibly disingenuous with the offline mode ever since the game was announced. All you can do is play skirmish. You can't level up your character, you can't do tasks (missions) and you can't play the story. It's so incredibly disappointing.
Nice to see them working hard behind the scenes! How's the bug where fleeing civilians sometimes slide towards the exit without moving their legs?

You are correct, offline skirmish works now but it only works halfway at the moment. For some reason we can't pick all the different Ghost types. It only allows us to select Ghost from the slimer category, all the other Ghost types and skins can't be activated, the activate option is grayed out like you see in your video. Also, if we try to play as a Ghost it switches to Ghostbusters by default; even if you set your preference to Ghost. So offline mode needs a patch to fix that. I'm on PS4

This game rocks! And illfonic shows their loyalties to their customers which could be verified by all of the patch work and dedication to the Friday the 13th game. Even though it was still flawed ghostbusters has a far greater star so I expect the patch works to improve the great greatly over F13th. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep this game close to my heart indefinitely! And will be more susceptible to invest in future games from illfonic
How does offline mode work? Is it a setting the game or in the EG launcher?
The offline mode is hidden and can only be accessed by disabling the network connection to your console or pc, even then you still have try to login at the main menu for the play offline button to appear which is odd.

They still haven't fixed "the legend" side hustle sprint task yet I bet... Says to sprint for 2,500 meters but the tracker says you need 250,000 meters

@@steaketc2476 I got to 20k and said f this I'ma wait till they fix it. Then found 2 more tasks that are bugged. And 1 task that now can't be completed because they blanket made all challenges unable to be completed in the alley the 100 ghost targets in the alley task now can't actually be completed because of it lol

Trying to play as a ghost is now broken when picking a job from the list.

so it looks like you have a custom ghostbusters team? so can you customize your team? or is it just lazy random ai ?
The bots are randomized
I'm having an issue with offline. I kept getting spawned in as a ghost, even when I've set my preference to Buster. If I quit the match and start a new one, it may put me in as a Buster. Seems completely random.
The Ghost or Ghostbuster option is currently broken for offline mode.
It would be awesome to get gear options from extreme Ghostbusters or from the Atari game. Maybe even a slime blower.
Did you customize the ai bots too?
As of Oct 21 on ps5 I am not able to play as the ghost. I tried all day.
Click up on d-pad to change preference when you're matchmaking
@@Oilupimtherein5 Currently, there is a bug that makes it to where you cannot choose a Ghost Class. Also, even if you set your match preference to Ghost you will play as a Ghostbuster. The devs are aware of the bug and it, hopefully, will be fixed.
This game is absolutely fantastic! Its fun to be a Ghostbuster!

Needs better match making. With cross play on finding way to many bots in matches.
So you need to have access to the internet to play the game offline? What if you don't have internet and wanted to buy this and play offline will it still work?
no you do need internet for solo offline

You need an internet connection for Online Single Player / Solo. If you are playing without an internet connection you will have the option to play the Offline Skirmish Mode.

i'm gonna cry tears of joy.
i still need a console or internet connection and however much i'd need to afford the game, like buying it on steam or getting xbox game pass and being able to download it then...
but just the idea that once its on my console or laptop(less unlikely since its running so slow being a decade old) that i wouldn't need internet to enjoy the game means a ton to me.
