Best example of sportsmanship, one reason the game is special. Even on a pond.
Golden Knights play with such unified intensity! They truly deserve it. Congratulations Las Vegas!!!
Congrats to the better team - Vegas definitely deserves the title of champions
Got the privilege to see Hill play twice as a Tucson Roadrunner in net, and now look at him as a Stanley Cup Champion.. WOW..!
💔 Panther for life. Proud of the run. Some very epic moments. Unfortunately came up short against a deserving Knight squad.
Despite a ton of nasty injuries, they showed up with a worthy effort, and were a lot of fun to watch. Respect to them. 👌
Hard to be proud of that team. Tkachuk is a dirty/immature player and his teammates started to follow suit
I see nothing to be proud of. Dirtiest, cheapest team ever.
Florida had a hell of a run. Only when they got to the SCF was the moment that they realized that they've outplayed themselves. Still, they took the Eastern Conference as a wildcard team. Other than the antics, all stemming from Matthew Tkachuk and a few others, I got to hand it to them.
@@mikeb3216 big reason I wanted Fl to hoist to cup was mainly for Bob. Just an all round classy guy, great player with a sportsmanship attitude. We wouldn’t have made it far without him, and I would’ve been happy for him to have a Stanley cup in his resume
I have tears because I want all to win that Cup actually because it's such a hard thing to win.
Congrats to Knights. Well deserved
If Tkachuk was there, he would’ve tried to get one more Misconduct.
Even though I was kinda rooting for the Panthers, the Golden Knights were clearly the far better team in this Cup Final & it showed. They were faster, bigger, had way more depth, and didn't have as many injury concerns, whereas the Panthers, you could tell, were starting to run on fumes after such a storybook playoff run through the East. I was kinda bummed once it became clear they weren't going to win this, but the Golden Knights are such a deserving Cup champ regardless of what the naysayers might think. Congratulations to the Vegas Golden Knights on winning the Stanley Cup! And don't underestimate the fan support in Vegas folks, this goes all the way back to their 1st season, which began shortly after the horrific tragedy that happened in Vegas that year. The organization became sort of a rallying point for the city after the tragedy, those initial first few days after the tragedy were hugely difficult for the city....and the Golden Knights played a small part of the road to recovery but a part that the folks there still have never forgotten. And have appreciated the organization for it ever since. And now they have a Stanley Cup that the fans and the city will be able to celebrate. Way to go Vegas!!!
That’s twice in two years Edmonton lost to the Stanley cup winners of that year
It was rigged by Gary Buttman daddy of Vegas Golden Girlies
Yup, at least we don't have to feel so bad ig?
@Charles Kletter I hope ur trolling.

This was a really great season
Good Job Las Vegas for winning for the first time 👏🏻👏🏻🏆
Golden knights what a great team
Jonathan Quick must be have gone crazy Starting the year as a King and Ending it as a Golden Knights and Stanley cup 🏆 winner 🎉🎉🎉
Don't forget his time at the CBJ 🤣

For the Panthers…SO GLAD YOU LOST! IT’S FUN TO SEE GUDAS AND BENNETT LOOK SO UPSET LOSING.

LET'S FING GO
It doesn't matter what Jersey wearing it's about the group of men that play the game together and they were talented and had a good team Florida was good but Vegas can score a lot of goals they remind me of the Edmonton oilers if they can put up 7 equals in a playoff game
Since the lockout, teams are now 0-8 in the playoffs after defeating the Maple Leafs

Good job Vegas. This is the first time winning the stanley cup!
We'll see you again after 2 months! Keep up Vegas!!
greatest tradition is sports, nothing close
My 1st year supporting VGK''s bought a hat that I liked with the logo on something different from a NY Yankees hat. Decided to follow them I"ve always liked to watch ice hockey use to play it on PS2/PS3. Wow I'm glad I did it's only there 6th season in the NHL & they've won a Stanley Cup. Now I can wear my hat & t shirt with pride. Way to go Knights.🎉🎉🎉
Outmatched, outplayed and out classed.
These Vegas players gave 200% ....that's what win , not skill like some Goofs in Toronto think
.... closest Tkachuk would get to the cup is shaking the hands of the winners and he didn't show up for that!!
DAMN!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro, its because he was very very injured
What, no cheap-shots from the Panthers in the handshake line?
🤣
Sore winner over here, bettman gifted the cup. Enjoy it!
Surprised Vegas didn’t keep playing or cross check after the whistle
@@saltycrow2924 You misspelled Florida.
@@SolidRizoSomething about glass houses and throwing rocks. Did Bettman strap on some skates and go out and score 9 goals?
Thachuk shows he's not captain material not shaking hands😂😂😂
He didn’t play idk how that would work unless he was in the locker room with the guys
@@hereticcreep3795 anyone else would have come down from the press to shake hands. We have seen it tons of times from players with heart. He was to embarrassed to show his face and admit defeat 😂😂
At least half of the Panthers pllayer did not show respect to their opponents during the playoff. I am glad Vegas won.
Explain how some was disrespectful

Floridas luck ran out best team won congratulations Vegas
Yes Champs!
Where was tkachuk
In the pressbox sucking on his pacifier.
Why can't we all get along
Why they don't always shake hands after the game?
They only shake hands after one team is eliminated from post-season or like tonight when the season ends.
I thought Reinhardt and Eichel would have hugged. Guess not
Karkalicious
Whitecloud Broken Hand? shaking with Left, glove on right
"Vegas won't get pass Bob"
*Proceeds to get scored on 8 times 🙄
Wasn't pulling for Vegas, but glad to see Quick get one more.
I heard someone saw gary bettman actually beating off when i realized his vegas golden knights won.
Where's Chucky? He could have been there and showed some maturity, but I guess not.
Love hockey!!!
Флорида по пути к финалу очистила для Вегаса дорожку

Congratulations Canada you guys won!!!
Canadian team hasn't won a cup in awhile.
Most of the players on VGK are Canadian
i wanted to watch eichel reinhart
Well that was anticlimactic ending for the season
Thats how sports have been the past 5 years. The lesser exciting team always seems to win in a blowout on the big stage. Avs, Lightning, Nuggets, Chiefs, etc
@@kja6336How was the Nuggets game a “blowout” ?!? 😂
@@kja6336 Less exciting to some. i like how some people like to talk for others and claim facts.
@@jimmiller5110 what? I said the less exciting team “seems” to usually be the winner. Im not claiming a fact *or* speaking for someone else.
@@kja6336 i am referring to you stating the 'lesser exciting team'. Sorry you missed the point.
I feel bad for barkov. Only panther i like.
"It was the refs" 😂😂😂. Yeah the refs got the knights 9 goals 😂😂😂
The Caps stoped them, but not the Cats.
Now the dismantling of a great team begins, who wants more money 💵 or leaves. Once the core of any team breaks up, it over. Also when Sports became a business, the Players loyalty went bye-bye.
The core of the Knights is locked in for 2 more year. The questions this off season will be Hill and Barbi. Everyone else is already locked in.
Any truth Mad Chucky duckyied the handshake line or was simply banned by NHL so no fights would occur?? Hmmm.
Tkachuk has a broken sternum. I'd say that qualifies as an injury. There is a good chance he does not start next season.
@@Chard-O Should have been suspended anyway.
@@Chard-O 😲 Wow, didn't know that! I was joking yet as a hockey guy, I don't wish NO serious injury on ANY player on ANY team.
@Michael D Then, so should Petro for coming out of the box and entering the scrum. Rule book is a 10-game suspension for that. Hill hitting players with his blocker is also a misconduct. If you advocate taking action against one, you have to be fair and do it for all. Otherwise, you are no better than the refs you're complaining about in the first place.
So Vegas won the Stanley Cup without playing any single of the 4 other best teams of the regular season while Florida lost after having beaten the 3 best teams of the regular season 🤣.
And then there are people who don't understand why NHL isn't getting more popular in the rest of the world
That's because it isn't
@@mikeb3216 Yeah I forgot "isn't"
Yeah that's how playoffs work sometimes.
@@milkwalkerjones633 That's how playoffs sometimes work mostly because it's irrelevant after a regular season of 80+ games to have teams qualified for the playoffs to be segregated by abstract and irrelevant divisions under the name of conferences. The logic would like that after the regular season, all the qualified teams are mixed to have a sense of sport fairness and equity. It's ridiculous to have the teams having done the best in the regular seasons to be forced to eliminate each others to reach the final. And maybe next time it will be on the other side of split.
It's like if in the football World Cup, you would put all European nations together to don't have more than one European nation in the final while they are known to be better most of the time. Here is the same. It's like to be sure that each season you have a team from the East and another one from the West.
What are you talking about? Vegas played against the Oilers who only finished 2 points behind Vegas in the standings and Dallas which were 3 points behind.
It wasn't a series.
Have to feel for Florida. Lightning lost the last cup and a first round exit this cup, Heats lost the NBA finals, and now the Panthers get blown out by a team everyone universally hates.
There should be no reason an expansion team should have this much success this early into their existence.
@@matthewmaning4859im a bolts fan but the reason is theyre shrewd and are run well. Gotta tip your 🧢
@@jonasgorea3823 Never
I feel the same. F--- Vegas.
Get bent over losers! HAHAHAHA Vegas baby!!
Tkachuk "injured" to avoid handshakes
I'd say a broken sternum is an injury.
@@Chard-O he sure looked injured when he was trying to rip Pietrangelo's head off. Should have had charges brought on him, plus a 10 game suspension.
@Michael D Spoken like a true band wagon fan.
@@Chard-O He is right though, He didnt look injured when he was raking his stick on Petro's neck after game 4.
@John Man, the drama you guys put on display is nearly mesmerizing. I don't condone anything someone does to hurt another player, but what you saw in the scrum was every day hockey. That's it, and if you're going to get technical here then let's look at Hill hitting at least three Panthers with his blocker, which by the way is supposed to be an automatic game misconduct. Then factor Petro coming out of the box to join the scrum??? Seriously, both sides had some issues here and the Petro thing is normally an automatic 10 game suspension.
The only person im happy for is Phil Kessel.
Glad Gudas and Tkachuk lost
Damn, looks like getting a top 6 player from every team in your first season works out huh. Not even trading all of your prospects, throwing star players under the bus and firing coaches for no reason could stop this core Vegas was gifted completely for free.
Bettman even promised them a cup in 6 years
They didn't get any top 6 players. WTF are you talking about? They got 1 star player towards the end of his career (Fleury), and a bunch of nobody's. Some of them did develop in to very productive players, but most did not. There's only 6 originals left. Only 1 player on roster from entry draft. The rest of players are FA signings and trades.
Lol @ the top 6 player comment. But thanks for sharing that we can realize you don't follow that much hockey.
Cry harder, your tears are delicious. Salty "old school" fans forget you have to actually show up to play to win the Cup and instead act like teenage girls on the Internet.
14 million over the cap
Yet every roster on the ice during the playoffs was under the cap.
The only disapoinment is that it wasnt 4:0... exactly wat florida deserved ^^
Sure okay lol
Surprised the refs didn't throw Panthers' players in the box for touching Vegas' hands.
"You lost the series 4-1... It wasn't the refs. Stop crying"
How many power plays did you guys score throughout the series? Special teams is important, right? What about your PK? How good was that? Or how many goals did you get 5 on 5? Yeah those damn refs though!!!! Ugh 😩
Who’s ready for the knights to win the next three years?
Vegas Golden girlies … mark Stoner
Florida Pansies

Heck ya man! iF mAn! iF!!!!
What a lame series. That will be easily forgotten
Yawn
Yet you watch 🤡
Congratulations for abusing the LTIR rule! You deserve this!
For 5 games, the two teams banged, hacked, smashed and speared each other and at the end, the players shook hands and some hugged each other. How hypocritical of them!
what? It just shows it's only a game after all.
You obviously have no clue about the game. Go study some hockey history.
No upchuck? too much of a coward to show? didnt want to be bullied by the real bullies?
When the referees work with your team than you will win the cup. NHL was a disgrace this year.
This handshake ceremony is the most hypocritical thing I've ever seen in my life. Those guys almost killed each other during the series and after all shack each others hands
It’s what sports is yo
thats the beauty of it
Similar thing even happens often when dudes drop gloves to fight. Half the time they end up giving a tap once they get sent to the penalty boxes and be like "solid fight man, respect" lol
congratulations, you discovered sports! It is not hypocritical. I don't think you fully understand how to use that word. If I hired someone to mow my lawn, and when he finished he just walked by your lawn and didn't mow it. Is he a hypocrite? Obviously not, he's just not working anymore. These guys are doing their job on the ice. When the game is over, they switch gears. The handshake ceremony is one of the most respectful things to see.
