Is there a similar performance tool that could be used to test SQL performance as the number of database rows increases? Also, does adding a read replica double the Cloud SQL costs?
The script we were running did write live records to our database. Locust.io merely sends whatever HTTP requests you specify - it doesn't know how to make them fake or dry runs, so if you don't stop it, it will fill a test database and highlight *real* performance issues :)
