Sewell had 114 tackles last year so it’s not like he can’t tackle or shy’s away from contact. Like it was said he tends to go for the splash hit at times & doesn’t wrap up, but Noah will be fine imo. It’s not like he’s incapable of wrapping up. I also think Noah has had to overcompensate for a lack of top tier talent around him. I’m a Duck fan so I can tell you firsthand the Ducks have some solid talent, but not many top tier guys. We had Thibodeaux & Sewell for day one/two guys. Point being I think a lot of the times Noah tries to do too much…at times. If he was at UGA or Bama I think he would be a bonafide 1st rd pk. 114 tkls, 8.5 TFL, 4.0 scks, 2 FF is legit production. If Justin Flowe can stay healthy & give us a full season w/ Noah I think it will be a huge benefit to Noah. I have little doubts that Noah & Flowe wouldn’t be the best inside LB duo in CFB. Speaking of Justin Flowe, if he can just stay healthy, I think you guys would be taking about him being on your top 5 lists. He’s an absolute freak. Sometimes I question if he’s human. He played in just one game last season & finished w/ 14 tkls, 1.0 TFL & a forced fumble. And that was w/ him playing through the 4th qtr w/ a broken foot. I shit you not, the man played on a broken foot. Dude was just around the football on what seemed like every play. Not only is he extremely violent & an athletic freak, his instincts are other level as well. Hopefully the football Gods bless us w/ one season of Flowe & Sewell together.
Bro have you seen film on Noah? He’s terrible at change of direction, slow to recognize, fooled easy, and Can’t get off a block to save his life. I mean he’s massive, he’s got good straight line speed, hits hard, but that’s about it.
