This is fantastic! A year ago I made an audiovisual installation with TD and vcv rack (communicating by midi). I can see making another one completely with TD and faust. And I bet this setup is less brittle.

are you running the processing to run Faust from the GPU by using Touch Designer? Thanks

I don’t think Faust can run on the GPU right now. The developers have thought about it for the future.

I am not as musically inclined as many others but if someone would like to iterate on what has been produced in this video and share their work here in this comment section and perhaps others iterated further and were also willing to share their progress we could begin the web 3 dream in touchdesigner and possibly have a DAW that is more beautiful than any privatly owned product
    or not, just an idea
what a lovely video though thank you for spreading the knowledge

Bro not once did you show how the whole thing works. Turning each thing separately didn't show the reason for having all of this shit together in a huge .. whatever this is called. Why?

The purpose here was not to show an overall project but rather individual instruments/effects and their user interfaces in TouchDesigner. It's up to the user to design more complex systems which integrate other components, like using a skeleton tracking system to control an instrument. If you have more feedback, I'd be happy to address it here or in future videos. Thanks!

@@DavidBraun crazy stuff, I like the effort. I've commented on one of your other videos wondering about drums - what do you think about that one?
