Been looking for a fossil hunter . Need response asap. There's a squid on Google Earth that has been around for a while now and just came across it. It's over 41 meters long... Here's coordinates. 63°2'56.73″S 60°57'32.38″W got any answers?
That is a very interesting anomaly! After doing a very quick bit of research on it, the best answer, and most logical one that we've found is that the "squid" is just a sail rock. Here's an article with the details: www.southernfriedscience.com/did-monster-hunters-find-a-120-meter-long-giant-squid-on-google-maps/ Hope this clears things up :)
Sorry, I wasn't sure if my last response got flagged by TH-cam since it contained a link. Here is the original response minus the link; That is a very interesting anomaly! Nice finds on the mountain goat trail
Thanks
I went there for my first time... for my first trilobite hunting. Some guys gave me a great rock. Climbing that slippery steep slope was no joke.
I've been up that hill. Didn't find a thing. Just a bunch of busted rocks...
So is it not worth visiting?
